And upon further review, the Lakers did the right thing to not trade for Cousins.

The Lakers aren't good enough for cousins to make that much of a difference from a wins perspective.

The Lakers roster lowkey would be just as bad / worse with cousins after trading away some assets to get him. Now that the team is bad, who knows if cousins extends? And even if he does, there's no guarantee that the Lakers can grab someone in FA to pair with him.

Cons more likely to happen with cousins in LA than pros.
