The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Played GT last night. I just don't think the Sim racer life is for me anymore. Think I'll stick with driveclub for now

Only played the demo for a bit yesterday.

This on a Pro + HDR TV is :wow:
Didn't play it much but the sound and UI are on point. Crashed a lot though initially.

I won't lie, getting back to SIM with no assists after playing so many arcade or SIMcade games was a humbling experience

Tell me about it... Stage 6 Missions are challenging!

Other than the lack of a proper Campaign, the sounds are just still not there yet. Don't get me wrong, they've improved massively from GT6 and overall, but it still lacks that bit of umph... not as meaty or badass as some of their competitors. Still has that artificialness to it. That being said, it still sounds pretty good.

So if not GT then what’s the best driving game for PS4?
For me, it's the best sim... but I'm a fanboy.

Assetto Corsa's also very good. I hear Project Cars 2 has improved quite a bit from PC1 (which was so-so for me), but it still has a few bugs here and there.

The fact that everytime you try to change your settings in GTS the game crashes is ridiculous.

had that exact same issue, i found another way which allowed me to change my settings.

I did notice a couple glitches like the one with the level up gauge i was a level 3 but it was saying my next level was so random number.

Bad Religion Bad Religion I can't freakin' wait :smokin

Tried the GT demo to other day. Graphics and presentation look amazing. But I'm just terrible at simulation type racing games tho. I may have to pass on this and get the next NFS game instead

Super Mario Odyssey receives first review in EDGE, awarded with a perfect score
Posted on October 11, 2017 by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch

This month’s issue of EDGE was originally supposed to be with subscribers at this point. However, the magazine was delayed “to accommodate an exclusive embargo.” Subscribers will have the issue tomorrow, but we’re hearing that it’s already showing up in stores – and Super Mario Odyssey is apparently on the cover.

We don’t have any images just yet, but Mario is shown in a white tuxedo. But more importantly, EDGE appears to have the very first review of the game.

What we know at the moment is that EDGE awarded Super Mario Odyssey with a perfect 10. This image from the magazine was snapped:

In its history, EDGE has given 19 other games a perfect score. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was released earlier this year, is one of them.
