I loved Lego as a kid. When my kid turned two, I got her Duplo and then a Classic box set later when she turned older.

She continued to get more Lego as gifts as she got more interested in Lego. My mom gave me my old Lego sets that were being stored in her basement as well. And once the Speed Champions GTR was released, I was back into Lego and hooked again lol.

Marketplace is a great place to pick up used sets for half the price or less. I look for complete sets that have instructions. Easy to wash them and add them to the bins.

I gravitate towards Speed Champs, anything Fast and Furious, Marvel, and some other sets that I find interesting. I picked up the Ninjago City Markets around Black Friday and just got the Daily Bugle (really tall one).

My kids like Friends, City, and Star Wars. They hope to start making their Lego table look more like a city.

whoever came up with the idea at lego to make and market sets aimed at adult women/couples is a genius. my wife has done a few botanical sets for her desk at work. my 13 year old son still geeks out on star wars sets. he’s done a few harry potter ones too. that **** hits my wallet hard 😖

As an avid builder.. it is my relaxing "leave me alone" hobby. I have built several large pieces. At the moment I would say my most challenging was the Titanic followed by Grand Piano (fun building) but Technics wise would be the Ferrari SP3.

More of an admirer from afar as Lego churns out some incredible sets from myriad IPs, but I do have a few...

Here is my "Halloween Town" display comprised of Lego Monster Fighters sets and other associated, "fits with the theme" items -

And... WALL-E -

Beyond these, though, I've steered clear. Lots of temptation on the Lego front, but I have enough collecting of other things going on to keep me more than occupied.
