ugh... we completely fell apart at the end. we just didn't have the strength to match up with Wake inside, and it caught up with us. they outrebounded usby a crazy margin. no way we could have won like that.
this one would have done it for us, but oh well... just beat a Junior Varsity UVA team next week and we're in.

Lose some horrible games (Morgan St., Duke by 40+), win some great ones (2 top 5 wins over UNC & MSU), then fall short in games that would solidify a spotin the tournament (Duke & Wake).
It's comical how it's the same **!* every year. NIT again for the Terps.

I know it's Rutgers, but this was a great feel-good win for Cuse.
The senior Presutti goes out in his last home game with a made shot.
Ongenaet had a big game in front of his family who made the trip to see him play his final game at home.

Cincinnati lost.
Florida lost.
Kansas St lost.
all we have to do is beat the worst team in the ACC and we're dancing...

Who else besides Cincy? ND and GTown were all but done already. OK St. won.
They're firmly on the bubble IMO. Obviously it all depends on what happens around the country, but just a win @ UVA won't solidify a spot. 1 or 2 inthe ACCT might do it, but whenever they leave their fate up to chance, they're **%***.

Providence will take a hit when/if they lose to Nova on Thursday..
The bubble is weak this year and UMD has a good case if they finish up with a Win and 1 in the ACC Tournament

Out of the 4 projections that I keep my eye on, Maryland is in 2 and out in the other 2. IMO there's really about 6 to 10 teams that have one foot in andone foot out and MD is one of them. We'll see how it all plays out.

i saw on another forum that 36 of 62 projections had us in as of yesterday.
we beat UVA, beat NC State in the first round of the ACC tourney, and that's 20 wins in the highest ranked conference in the country. no WAY wewouldn't get in as an 11-seed or higher.

SJU, Depaul and USF lined up in a row..then on Wednesday of the BET get PC or WVU.
That was a possibility and would have made them a lock.
#1 SOS goes along way. Some people had them in after the Nova game.
But they !%+@ the bed tonight and don't deserve it anyway.
