me and u dont have to argue. bosh is playing with lebron, who needs nash? amare is the leader of the knicks. felton is a bum right? so we can just watch the season and see who is right. i've crapped on amare's rebounding and defense.... but he's more of a game changer than bosh and slightly better imo
Talent wise, he's absolutely head and shoulders above Amare.
I didn't know winning rookie of the year made you a superior player, damn, thanks for letting me know!
. The difference between Yao and Amare that first year were marginal. There were tons of years if Amare were in a different draft class, he wouldn't have won it. He won with 13.5/9 rebounds. Reke just won it with 20/5/5, Bron won his with 21/5/6, Durant with 20/4/2, I can go on and on.
You look at some of the talent that the Suns have had on their rosters compared to what Chris Bosh has had. It's very comparable to Pau Gasol on his trash-+%+ Grizzlies rosters (no offense Bhz, I know those were the glory days when you guys made the Playoffs every now and again
), they would get into the Playoffs sure, but never got anywhere. Three straight first round exits, he goes to a contender, boom, two championships. Amare was on a legitimate contender for quite a few years, and suddenly now that he has a significant drop in talent on his team, you're expecting him to make some noise in the Playoffs? I'm being dead real when he's fortuante if he makes it to the playofs, let alone do anything. He needs at least one other huge name. Even then, contenders? From the East? It's going to be hard with the Magic, Heat, and Celtics still kicking around, not to mention the Hawks (who haven't really put anything together, but they keep staying around).
So lets hear it. What makes Amare better than Bosh? Bosh is definitely a better rebounder, he has overall a far superior offensive skill-set than Amare, Bosh has very nice hands for a big man, good hands around the basket, arguing about defense between the two isn't really worth bringing up.
I just don't see how Amare fricking Stoudemire is better than Chris Bosh.
