Its crazy to see what has happened in the last years for both bay area teams. At one point the niners were competing for super bowls with the new face of the NFL Kap and the raiders still in misery, to Kap regressing so much and just a shell of his old self and the raiders out there looking like title contenders with a young gunslinger terrizing the NFL, to the what we have now, niners with a new qb who looks the bar and the raiders qb looking like a shell of what he was. Hopefully Carr can bounce back. He is exciting to watch when he is balling. And hopefully Garapolo can continue progressing to what he can become.

It’s crazy how quickly windows can shut and how narratives can change in one off season. just this time last year, all the talk was about how the raides were gonna be superbowl contenders. Fast forward a year and now it's all about "the raiders are playing for respect.” makes me respect the hell out of dynasties like the 80s and 90s 49ers and cowboys teams and the pats

Last night made me appreciate having a QB with HEART that doesn't tuck his tail between his legs when it's time to battle (checkdowns in the 4th down 2 scores). Jimmys already shown he's a leader of men, albeit sloppy, he'll step up to the plate when needed most.

In an abstract way I'm not mad about the loss. We had such a target on our back of everyone wanting to see Jimmy fail, GOOD, now we can go back to being under the radar.

We know who we have, I don't think any niner fan is disappointed with Jimmy or lost any confidence in his ability. Really liked Pettis getting touches, he's so smooth with his separation, he's going to be big for us.

Going to need Bourne to be replaced with Richie James, though.
