I'm not familiar with this Kalief Browder case but the question clearly seemed to indicate to me that Browder was not at fault. Bernie's answer seemed very dismissive. Even without knowing anything about that case, I don't think it was hard to identify from the question that the case involved someone who was done wrong by law enforcement and the system.

Maybe he didn't fully grasp the question but either way that sounded bad.

Unsurprisingly, Trump first and foremost praised Russia, rather than US forces and Kurdish intelligence gatherers. The latter continued to assist the CIA even after Trump’s withdrawal that left them to be slaughtered.

However, it appears Trump’s high praise for Russia was in vain.
Uninmpressed, the Kremlin swiftly brushed off Trump’s advances, showing no interest in the desperate attempts of a clingy lover begging for acknowledgement from his crush.
