It's funny because Kavanaugh should have just said he would call for an FBI investigation to clear his name.

So now the Trump Adminstration is admitting climate change is real, and it is man made. Not only that, the problem with Obama's regulations is that they didn't do enough to solve the problem

So.......let the Trump Adminstration do absolutely nothing because we are already ****ed, nothing we can do, so let us pollute some more.

Only silver lining to this buffoonery is that is completely craps on the nonsense NT conservatives made in here.
I support the Wall, and I support another Wall between the US and Canada. Gotta quarantine the crazies.

The American Bar Association had concerns about Kavanaugh 12 years ago. Republicans dismissed those, too

But in May 2006, as Republicans hoped to finally push Kavanaugh’s nomination across the finish line, the ABA downgraded its endorsement.

The group’s judicial investigator had recently interviewed dozens of lawyers, judges and others who had worked with Kavanaugh, the ABA announced at the time, and some of them raised red flags about “his professional experience and the question of his freedom from bias and open-mindedness.”

“One interviewee remained concerned about the nominee’s ability to be balanced and fair should he assume a federal judgeship,” the ABA committee chairman wrote to senators in 2006.

Not such a flawless choice, is he? Kinda explains why the ABA came out so fast in favor of a delay and just supported an FBI investigation into Kavanaugh.

No, no, no ... The ABA was pissed that they were quoted by Republicans as proof / support that he wasn't a sexual predator ... Once they realized that the ABA could go down in history as supporting this nominee in this circumstance, they had to come out and update their rating ...

All of this was to get Kav through ...

Pick the scenario ...

1) Republicans approve the Kav recommendation on a straight party vote, a day after a disturbed woman made a compelling story out of Kav, with polling overwhelmingly saying that people think avoiding a FBI investigation is not a good look, with Dems kicking and screaming like children, and holding a vote for a lifetime appointment under immense scrutiny, ensuring he will forever be that creep judge ...

2) Republicans approve the Kav nomination, with a theatrical performance by Flakey demanding a FBI investigation, albeit limited in scope, so as to ensure the vote is held prior to the midterms and the needs of the public and libbies are satisfied ...

This is actually a genius play ... Then next comes the existence of a similar looking individual clearing Kav and then the confirmation ...

This is the top Catholic magazine saying this:

The Editors: It is time for the Kavanaugh nomination to be withdrawn

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee today clearly demonstrated both the seriousness of her allegation of assault by Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh and the stakes of this question for the whole country. Judge Kavanaugh denied the accusation and emphasized in his testimony that the opposition of Democratic senators to his nomination and their consequent willingness to attack him was established long before Dr. Blasey’s allegation was known.

Evaluating the credibility of these competing accounts is a question about which people of good will can and do disagree. The editors of this review have no special insight into who is telling the truth. If Dr. Blasey’s allegation is true, the assault and Judge Kavanaugh’s denial of it mean that he should not be seated on the U.S. Supreme Court. But even if the credibility of the allegation has not been established beyond a reasonable doubt and even if further investigation is warranted to determine its validity or clear Judge Kavanaugh’s name, we recognize that this nomination is no longer in the best interests of the country. While we previously endorsed the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh on the basis of his legal credentials and his reputation as a committed textualist, it is now clear that the nomination should be withdrawn.

You and your conspiracies...

The ABA previously gave him their highest grade more than 13 years ago, then they downgraded him because of concerns about his impartiality in 2006.

Let's all keep in mind, that the honorable Judge Bratt Kavanaughty has not yet been found guilty of a crime, although he clearly is.

We are talking about the most recent downgrade ... It's not a conspiracy, it's fact ... Jesus

They previously endorsed him too, and now they are retracting their endorsement.

Nothing to do with respect; those organizations realized they got conned and changed course. Keep up.
