Based on your name I am assuming you are familiar with the Brussels bombings. Bombs do far more damage than these guns. Touting less mass murder by guns when you have greater mass murder by bombs is a bit disingenuous.
Disingenuous? No denying that terrorism is an issue throughout much of Europe and certainly here but here's some statistics for you then.
In the 2016 Brussels bombings, the 3 suicide bombers caused 32 civilian deaths and 300 injuries as well as killing themselves in the process. On what planet is that "greater mass murder than guns" when the biggest terrorist attack in this country doesn't even begin to come close to a shooting like Vegas?

Can you list all of the other terrorist bombings in Belgium and see how many it takes to reach the death toll of the Vegas shooting? Within the last 20 years or so, or maybe just take the last 40 years.

Yeah, bombs are completely comparable to guns. I forgot that there are millions of bombs available for purchase on street corners.

Stick to mopping floors and cleaning french fry grease off your clothes dwalk31 dwalk31

Columbine shooters had bombs... Availability doesn't seem to be the issue. That is the entire point. People dead set on causing mass harm find a way to do it. Gun laws, just like weed and liquor laws, aren't going to stop anyone set on obtaining the weapons from getting them. As long as manufacturers are making the weapons they will be able to end up in the wrong hands, sadly. These criminals could careless about the law.

So why don't we just say @#$@ it and make bombs and every other lethal weapon legal? Since you're convinced that people will use them anyway no matter how hard they are to obtain/build?

Australia banned guns after one mass shooting. I dare you to go to Melbourne or Sydney and pretend like America is leaps and bounds better.

Blind patriotism is almost as dumb as blind faith. This is coming from someone who legitimately believes America is the best place in the world, and moved 4 different countries just to make it here.

I didn't say America was better than any other place. Perhaps you quoted the wrong person.

are you being serious anymore?
you can't be this dense

Many destructive devices are legal. And many people use them anyway illegally. Felons in possession, for instance, do it all the time.

The irony is that the Columbine shooters didn't even plan to shoot the school up. They planned on blowing the school up. Had they not had any guns, there would have been no fatalities because they failed miserably making the bombs.

It's a lot easier to get a gun and shoot fish in a barrel than it is to build a bomb. As evidenced literally by that one event.

What did the Ariana Grande concert evidence?

The irony is people like him with his beliefs are the ones who shouldn’t have guns lol

While we are pointing out ironic motifs... Gotta add the fact that you said people like me with my beliefs... without knowing me... or my beliefs

So if we can't stop them all, then nothing should be done about it. I'll never understand that logic.

Just moving the age back up to 21 would've stopped this guy last week.

It is 21 for handguns... and there are several videos of the shooter with a handgun. Despite him being under that age.

People with his beliefs and intelligence should've had their faces spit on and back handed more often by their parents. Maybe then we wouldn't have so many idiots roaming around this country.

Yikes

Are we talking about schools? Still waiting on those statistics papi. Show me how dangerous Western European, Canadian and Australian schools are compared to ours.

I thought we were talking about mass murder. Is that not the topic?

I'll do Dwalk's work for him I suppose. Here's all the terrorist bombings we've had since 1980 in order of magnitude:
2016 Brussels bombings: 35 deaths (including 3 suicide bombers), roughly 300 injured with around 65 of them suffering critical injuries but surviving
1981 Antwerp truck bombing in front of a synagogue: 3 deaths and 106 injuries
1980 grenade attack at an Antwerp summer camp for Jewish kids: 1 death, 20 injuries

Total: 39 deaths, roughly 426 (probably closer to 450 if anything) injured.

2017 Las Vegas shooting: 58 deaths, 851 injured

But apparently it's "disingenuous" to point out our lack of mass shootings when we "have greater mass murder by bombs" and "they do more damage" I guess. I don't want to turn this into a mass murder olympics but that statement was far too ridiculous.

This was my original post that you smugly responded to.

More schools with more guns? Sounds like regression.

You would think the aim over the years would have been to reach a point where armed guards and metal detectors weren't needed in any schools.

Sounds pretty clear that I was alluding to schools.

that statement was far too ridiculous.

Add that to the list of statements made by dudes who did the "but what about" regarding heart attacks, suicides, prescription pills, texting and driving, and tornados in the mass shooting threads.

That is greater death/injury than the parkland shooting. Without guns. In Belgium. Which sparked this conversation. You are the one who brought up the shooting bans in place where you are. I simply showed it hasn't prevented mass murder by scumbags.
