Chase played aite in the 1st half.....

McClellan is GARBAGE and Hill can only do so much in the paint....the Lopez bro's were beasting tonight.

Bayless played like garbage also and Nic Wise played OK, they just don't have toughness and size in the paint to compete.

Where did all of the Arizona fans go? DFresh is the only one that I've seen post in this thread or the "Nobody wants it with Arizona" threadsince the end of the game...

Arizona just fell apart in the second half.

Kevin O'Neill just can't get this team to make any adjustments.
The Pac-10 officials are the worst in the history of mankind, but that didn't really have anything to do with this game. Brook Lopez ate Jordan Hill forlunch. Arizona needs some toughness, like a Gene Edgerson type of guy who wouldn't think twice about elbowing some skinny white mormon guy from BYU in theface just to let him know that he's there.

Bayless had a tough day shooting, as did the rest of the Cats. Budinger needs to be more of a take charge guy. He's so talented, but he just looks likehe's on cruise control out there.

Well, so much for my sleeper pick...on to a first round loss in the NCAA's and Kevin O'Neill's emminent departure...thus keeping Jerryd Baylessaround for a title run alongside Jennings next year.

Thankfully O'Neill will be gone.

Bayess is FAR from soft... dude always takes it to the rack & always hard.
Also Wise isn't soft either.

They still will be dangerous/capable of doing some damage in the tournament.... & that does not take away from the fact thatStanford obviously is better then Arizona.... I never once said Stanford was not.

I THOUGHT Arizona would win & WANTED them to..... but never 100% expected them to..... Arizona obviously has had their problems all year long, however nowthat they are healthy, it does help out... as they were 3-8 with Bayless or Wise not in the line-up.

One tournament win?
Just because they lost tonight does not mean they are CAPABLE of beating Stanford.... they clearly showed that in the first two meetingsif you watched all of the first two times they played.

Dangerous = capable of hanging with & beating GOOD teams (see play against Kansas, Memphis without Bayless, UCLA,Stanford twice, etc)

Jerryd Bayless playing the 2, along with Brandon Jennings, Chase Budinger, & Jordan Hill? And Nic Wise off the bench and Zane Johnson as a 3point specialist?
Not to mention that Lute will actually allow Jamelle Horne to get off the bench, which for some mysterious reason Kevin O'Neill is letting him rot there.
There's also some interior help coming with Jeff Withey, a 7 footer from San Diego ranked in the top 10 of centers by Rivals, and Emmanuel Negedu, a 4 starPF from New Hampshire.
Not only will that team be extremely talented but very deep.
