NFL Week 4 In Review...

Here's a question for you...best safety tandem in the NFL? Seattle? Tampa?

i'll take seattle for all around play. i'll take tampa for being scared of going over the middle or up the seam as a WR.

I wanna say Barron and Goldson, but both are similar players. Big hitters that lay wood and intimidate receivers across the middle. I need to see the coverage skills improve, which will happen with Barron. Still room to grow.

My answer is Seattle because of the balance. Kam is your KO hitter, ET is the coverage specialist with great ball skills. Truly fulfilling the FS and SS roles.

Seeing two franchise tagged players go down with season-ending injuries was probably the end of Byrd-Buffalo (that, and the fact they refuse to sign him long term). My dude wants no parts of hurrying back from injury if he can get a big contract in the offseason.

Shame, too, because I love watching him play. Gotta take care of yourself first.

EDIT: And I agree w/ what Champ said. Seattle has the best tandem, imo.

Patrick Daughtery tweeted something that I kinda agree with:

Falcons roster starting to remind me of late-era Peyton in Indy. Too many things seemingly glossed over because they're cool at QB/WR.

A stud offense can only carry a team so far.

Yes, I think Flynn solidified his role as a backup. He was atrocious yesterday. This is why Seattle didn't want him, Oakland will cut him soon I'm guessing.

This and THIS!!

We lost that game more than Washington won it. That pick-6 killed our momentum and then our fate was sealed with those two turnovers in the 4th :frown:

I've always believed that a defense needed at least one hard hitting safety to be considered great. Being able to make a perfectly timed hit to jar a ball loose or heighten that fear factor in opposing receivers are things you can't really quantify.

Honorable Duo mention: SF...From what we've seen from Reid, he's always around the football. It's a matter of time before he's talked about among the best Safeties in the league.

i only saw a little bit of the action yesterday

-Reggie ... problem
-AP ... unreal
-#18 ... just win 1 more ring ... i have no more comments about my dude
-I know yall saw fitz destroy revis island on that TD catch
-Luck is impressing me (deal worked out for both teams)
-hate brady but respect his skills
-rivers is balling
-locker injury ... smh

Bum(s) of the week
-Jax ... enough said
-dalton ... does anyone take the bengals seriously with this guy
-GMEN ...
-Titans (Titans use of CJ0K) ... it's deplorable to give him all that money and then misuse him ...
-Cutler ... he just doesn't get it

49ers are still a mystery even after beating the rams.

flacco gave the bills the game with 5 turnovers.

browns! can they win the division? they outchea. cameron

Seahawks got to fix the slow starts (especially russell Wilson)
Marshawn is the 2nd best HB right behind AP
JJ Watt is more than welcome to find a home in seattle
Finnegan single handily brought Kaep back to life. How is the dude still a starter, hes straight doo doo butter
Peyton Manning has a major chip on his shoulder
If Hoyer keeps winning what does cleaveland do?
Tampa Bay is major over rated, just like i said before the year started
