Lakers lack of size being exposed tonight in the 4th quarter. They’re getting a taste of what’s to come in the playoffs so they better add a center asap.

We end 2024 just like we ended 2023 and 2022 - in desperate need of a starting center to move AD back to his natural position of PF so the Lakers can get back to the Finals

Seemed like the Lakers kept it competitive with arguably the best team in the league. Something to build on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Think they had a six or seven game streak of 20+ made threes after last night.
I missed the 2nd half but it seemed like every time we would come back, they would hit a 3 and stop the momentum. They’re loaded on the offensive and defensive front

Started the game late but can't get out shot on 3 pointers like that and expect to win.

Had chances but our 3 point shooting was atrocious.

Not seeing how they get to anybody over $30mil contracts.

The risk isn’t worth the reward. If they were gonna do it. DLo needed to be part of that trade.

Otherwise a Shake/Knecht/DFS/Hayes bench is awful.

The story around Austin is weird. When he first made this jump it was a great surprise, Lakers got a big steal but now that he's not a superstar people take him for granted.

Makes no sense. No. He's never gonna be a superstar, might not ever make a allstar team but to get 18, 6 and 5 outta your undrafted player (who recently took a paycut) is GREAT.

Who's taking him for granted?

He played really well this past month, no one's arguing against that. Reaves is a good young player, and a great find if you factor in him going undrafted.

Now some may want to call him a "star" which I don't agree with but it's not even worth arguing because it's probably impossible to find a universal agreement for that term.

He's a skilled offensive player... a solid 3rd option on this team but IDK if he's good enough to be the 3rd best player on a championship team.
