Their are many choices but one that sticks out in my mind is Matt Forte.
A few other players are:
Eddie Royal
Chris Long
Matt Ryan

I really really prefer what Forte is doing over what Ryan is doing tho Ryan is def. getting alot of love and worthy of it
But
the other day on ESPN , they were saying he was the only change the Falcons made in the off season so he should get consideration for MVP too
I mean, I guess Michael Turner has nothign to do with that success in the ATL.

jerious norwood is an incompetent backup..
ovie mughelli is a terrible fullback..
michael jenkins, brian finneran, and harry douglas haven't contributed at all this season..
john abraham didn't do squat this season..
curtis lofton, keith brooking, and michael boley are scrubs..
trading for dominique foxworth did the falcons no good..
lawyer milloy and erik coleman are no good..
hell, even jason elam sucks..

i mean, matt ryan is the obvious MVP. he IS the atlanta falcons. the rest of the team is terrible with the exception of matt ryan who has won all of thefalcons' games.

..i guess great free agent acquisitions, a great draft, and a new coaching regime had nothing to do with the falcons turning it around.

in all seriousness, he is deserving of the offensive rookie of the year award, but even if he was a vested veteran in the league he would not get the NFL MVPaward. his overall play and statistics [yes we all hate them but they are taken into heavy consideration] really don't warrant it. hell, if anyone on thefalcons warrants any consideration for the NFL MVP award it is MICHAEL TURNER.

We'll if thats the case then we should throw Chad Pennington's name in the mix for MVP then. Numbers matter a lot in the voting and he doesn't havethe stats to make a strong case for MVP and it has always been like that in the NFL. He's Offensive ROY easy.
