What's sad is that I know a 33 year old that was just like her until recently. She has her first boyfriend now and previously had never been kissed. She's done almost a complete 180 now but the sad part is she has such little experience reading through dudes bs that she's settled for a guy that is playing games. Everyone around her thinks it's suspicious except her. It's really really sad.

also, any dude interested in you over the age of 16 is looking at you as a sex object, and you SHOULD be looking at them in the same way. Not necessarily saying yall should smash right away, but the reason people date is to find a mate of the opposite sex. If you want strictly friends go to a gay club or something.

What's even worse is that the parents enable her naivety! They were so worried that she'd never get married or have a relationship they don't call her or him out on any of their rude behavior. This guy while semi good looking is totally suspicious and has to be living some kind of double life. I bet OP's parents are enablers also. Please OP for your sake, go out and get some experience. I don't mean go have sex either but at least put yourself in uncomfortable situations so you can learn how real life works before you get so desperate you start settling for any breathing object that shows interest.
