I guess Sony should stop making Uncharted, God of War and Infamous too.

Infamous, definitely.

Wouldn't bother me none if Uncharted 4 wrapped up the series.

God of War should end if they're not going to move on to a new mythology.

maybe I'm just in the minority. As long as the game is fun and still keeps me entertained, they can make them til the end of time and I'll continue to play them. *shrugs*

Yall saying God of War and infamous and uncharted need to stop? Cmon..... Not even realistic. Why does the recent infamous get so much slack? The game was good. Not amazing. But very good. Great introduction to next gen capability. I won't even entertain the idea of the other two franchises being wack

Nintendo doesn't need new characters or IPs, Mario Kart 8, Smash 4, Donkey Kong Country Returns/Tropical Freeze are all GREAT games.

But what if you don't like those games?
What's there to look forward to if you don't make new IP's and instead you know what's coming out.

Not saying that they don't make new ip's but their library should be a healthy mix of new and old.

I remember hearing that splatoon was meant to be with Mario characters but they changed their minds. Thank God for that, and now look at the hype for the game.

I guess Sony should stop making Uncharted, God of War and Infamous too.

Thing about Sony is if a franchise is successful, then you will see sequels but they won't stop making new games.

New ip's this gen alone, Driveclub, Knack, Bloodborne, The Order, Resogun, Tearaway. And there's stuff on the way like RIME, Until Dawn, New ip from Guerrilla, new ip from Media Molecule with move, that sketchbook looking one from Jaffe.
I'm sure I forgot some but still, New IP's in a variety of genres. Not saying they are all blockbuster AAA hitters but you get the point.

That's why I like Sony's press conference or reveals.

I've never played gears 2 or 3 and would like to play horde
Also God of war 12 and 3 was some of the best games
Ascension was a big letdown

Nintendo doesn't think it needs a variety of new ips, which is fine with me.
Nintendo's been bringing various good or unqiue games.
PIkmin 3, Captain Toad, 3d world, wind waker hd, wonderful 101, bayonetta 2, and the games naughty/centx listed.

Pikmin 3, captain toad, and 3d world are masterpieces.
Also nintendo's console is the only one that has BC.

FF XIII was dope it was just mad linear until you get to the open field place. I forgot the name of the place.

Final fantasy xiii worked with the linear portion, at least for me. Now that the topic has been brought up I actually think it's annoying that too many games are trying to be open world
