Erroneous.  You haven't been paying attention to the music world or national media/gossip if you believe that Kanye "made" her.  Her "Fearless" album opened at No. 1 on the Billboard and has stayed in the top 25 for the year after it's release.  Along with the extraordinary Album sales, she is the DARLING of America.  So far, Gaga, who I believe was the closest to beating Swift, is more of a Singles artist than an Album artist.

her 2008 album was a multi platinum hit
she has been selling out football STAIDUMS within 30 seconds since 07'

That's not a fact, it's an opinion.

She sold millions of records and was topping the charts before the incident, THAT'S a fact.

Her 2006 album sold over 4 million records, and before the VMAs her 2nd album was already the biggest album of the year to date, that's a fact.

What Ye did opened eyes to the hip hop community to who Taylor Swift was, not everybody listens to different genres

But that doesn't really affect the Grammys, does it?  Her being relevant in the hip-hop community most likely didn't influence the voters whatsoever.

I don't care for her music and I'm not really a fan, but look outside the rap genre people, country music is HUGE, and Swift has been all over country and pop charts for years before Kanye upstaged her.

Sure, what Kanye did at the VMA's boosted Taylor Swifts popularity and she got more well known in hip hop and pop circles.

But she was a VERY successful artist before this and put out a great album.

I still felt that Gaga shoulda won for the impact she has caused within pop music but what can you do?
