agreed. i think reducing charge time, and investment in infrastructure (charging stations) would help grow the market. but the cars have to be more attractive in terms of design and price point.Tesla's technology is solid. Unfortunately, for them they are ahead of the curve. Realistically battery tech needs to improve for EVs to go main stream.
Having that auto pilot tech in regular gas vehicles would be clutch though.
the avg cost of a car is around 30k. with housing and inflation increasing at a rate faster than the salary growth, EV cars have to be affordable and reliable. Tesla cars are kind of sleek and bland at the same time. the misaligned door handles of the model x is criminal for the $ they charge.
