This Heat game is messing with my fitness, I am trying to be a doer like Daniel Lugo.
 
yea I dont like waiting or sharing at all, I like to hit my stuff boom boom boom then bounce. There is a LA fitness across the street from my job so I could literally get there at 5 on the dot but I assume thats gonna be too late, and I cant do the lunch time workout because Id need 2 hours PLUS time to shower. I guess just finding 1 gym is gonna be my best bet,


I hate waiting too but that's the only time I can realistically go. I can't do the 4am workouts that's too early for me and anything after 7 is too late bc it messes with my IF. It sucks but I make do I guess

School me on BCAA's guys...should I be taking it? Don't really know too much about it.

I do Intermittent Fasting, so i take BCAAs during my fasted workout. I also throw BCAAs into my casein shake before bed. Personally, I've felt the most muscle growth while taking BCAA supplements. To each their own though.

I cut down CRAZY WEIGHT with the IF diet... I even had to stop because I didn't want to lose anymore

so I want to cut so I can get better definition and appear not as wide...whats your diet like?

I've read to do the 6 pm to 6 am IF then theres a 6p to 6p IF. Which one did you use.

My girl gets home around 8p.m. from work so she's ok if I dont eat with her so I'm gonna give this a go.
 
I go from 9pm to 1pm and it works out for me fairly well. I usually don't even eat anything past 7:30 so it starts from there most of the time

lol I dont diet persay, I just have a Calorie and Protein Goal I make sure to hit most days. I`m doing IF but my IF window is pretty extreme I only eat from 7pm-11pm, I workout fasted also.

My weakness are carbs. I dont even like carbs like that but my fat *** stay wanting toast or english muffins to sop up the yolk for breakfast.

I'm about to do the IF. gonna try the 7 p.m. to 12 p.m. cause I can do with out breakfast if I have water.
 
Sidenote: Why is that when I don't go to the gym I tend to make bad food decisions. It's like "sure I'll have one of those cookies, ooo chips yea let me get some, Is that pink lemonade, oh yes please pour me a cup" It's an endless dirty little cycle I go through.

This is exactly what happens to me too. I think it just comes down to subconsciously I want to eat the best so I can perform the best and recover the best around my workouts. For some reason I just don't feel the need to eat as clean on my days off.

The reason I like IF because I dont eat small meals, I get to eat big meals that leave me stuffed.
 
Any good bulking methods?

eat clean though or atleast most of the time.

im excited to bulk this fall/winter

kinda hate summer because gotta stay lean but i just wanna bulk already. im making so much progress while cutting too and actually getting stronger some how :hat x100
 
**** bro just keep it clean and don't get carried away. I have been trying to bulk for a month and gained way too much. I have the metabolism of a snail :{

That sucks.

I've been eating about 4500 cals a day for 2 months and gained about 2 lbs

you need to eat at least 5 times a day. big meals. about every 2 hours. go hard in the gym too
 
Push ups starting at 25 going down to 1 is a great daily workout

Used to love this. Going to go back to incorporating pushups and pullups consistently. Used to do a 500 pushup challenge. Several times a week. That's when my body was at its best. Not far off, but just plateauing somewhat nursing this knee. Can't go balls to the wall like I typically do.

Lucky you are doing it fam. Great progress.

Going to enjoy myself this weekend food wise (keep macros in check, but not be as strict on myself) and cook up a bunch of food for the week on Sunday. Need to incorporate more beef.

I guess it depends what you're going for but for me I try every 3-4 hours. All depends how fast you're digesting food I suppose
