I cut down CRAZY WEIGHT with the IF diet... I even had to stop because I didn't want to lose anymore
I've read to do the 6 pm to 6 am IF then theres a 6p to 6p IF. Which one did you use.
My girl gets home around 8p.m. from work so she's ok if I dont eat with her so I'm gonna give this a go.
Calorie surplus, compound lifts, clean eating. So Ive gain strength and muscle, but whats the best way to gain more muscle? Do I have to lift less, and put on more reps?

It was straight Hanes white tees for the better part of last summer for me. When it gets hot, I keep it simple. The ladies mirin' is an added bonus.
Sippin' on some sugarless coffee on a Saturday morning browsing this thread like I usually do.. that first caffeine buzz always provokes deep thought..
So I was thinking about brands and how they are designed to make people believe they look better than they actually do. The real truth is, the better you look, the better shape you are in, the healthier you are.. the less you depend on brands.
When you're in shape, you don't need that $75 Polo twill. That $12.99 piece at Target will do just fine.
Well once again....the comment was made about boxing....which is almost an endurance sport. When you do all that speed training and cardio you tend to slim out. When the bigger looking guys step into the ring and they are all super muscular....they tend to move slower. Which can have to do with their training regime. This is not always the case....but boxers tend to be slim because of all the endurance training they have to do to make it a full 12 rounds. They don't want the big huge muscles....that will not help them in the ring as much as extremely fast hands. Yes they are muscular...but functionally for their sport.
But either way great post and a lot of good info

Grey for me, but still, this
Can any of you bros chime in on my bulking macros question within the last two pages?
Im taking my TDEE, adding what my Polar says I've burned during that days workout, and adding 250 surplus. 5'10 190 lb, 16%BF according to my analog calipers.
Super endomorph here which is why I'm trying to do this as slowly as possible, til mid July. Should give me ample time to shred in time by the Olympia
personality and physique trump any brand out there, trust me
I want to do it for ego/mirror reasons to keep it funky with ya, I'm obviously not a competitor ( ) , just want to look more fit by that weekend. It's just a short term goal of mine to be honest. Long term being able to press 250 and bust shirts sleeves by Christmas haha
I've lost a ton of weight, and have come to terms that with my bigger desire to gain mass, fat gain is inevitable. I'm now okay with it though, my body is ready. Plus, I think cutting is easier than eating at a surplus anyhow so i'm looking forward to that more than this slow bulk I began this week
