STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I have no clue how I caught a cold in the middle of June, but it's really messing with my lifting...
This jersey weather bro. We don't even know what jersey weather is anymore. It's all over the place. There was a few cooler days last 2 weeks and rain. It's been messing with me too

I think the GOAT of all hamstring exercises is the Nordic curl. If you can do one of those unassisted then you have some beast hamstrings.

Not terrible but for example it was low 80s yesterday and this morning when I left for work it was 55. We keep having random days like that or a little cooler

The ghd ones look harder to me since you're going up from below parallel. I could only get 3.

Alright guys since I was born my legs were really weak as a 3-4 year old, one of the reasons my dad made me eat a ton so my legs would gain weight get stronger and I wouldnt be falling all the time. Back in 09' 10 I was playing ball and rolled my ankles playing ball horrilbly(both on diff. Ocassions around that time) and also dropped the gate onto the right foot about a month later. I think it stayed messed up never recovered. I couldnt walk for a month or two, the thing is for some reason I didn't decide to go get it checked out. Fast forward from then to now and my walking is all sorts of whack, I went for a light walk for a hour half an hour ago and all I could feel was pain on it, this has happened since then. I feel my legs are still weak since I never got them stronger either running or weight lifting seriously, It's what im doing right now but the pain and the uncomfort is way to much, not to mention the embarrassment of walking funny, maybe it's a condition not sure. My question is should I go a chiropractor to help me get my walking normal, a doctor to have it checked out first or what? I dont know where to start first, this has been a long problem and I havent done anything about it and I need to. Sorry about the long read guys

My trainer (boxing) cancelled on me today so I'ma hit the pool today :smokin
You train only at a boxing gym or do you have a membership at a regular gym also?

Reason why I'm asking is I use to train muay thai, but the weight training equipment sucked so I got a separate LA Fitness membership. Over the years I've noticed the amount of people shadow boxing in between sets or using the punching bags at LA has increased. They do it horrifically, but I thought it was interesting that more and more people are doing it. If you do weight training at a separate gym have you notice something like this also?

I do it all in one spot. The weight training equipment is good money in mine.

Go to your doctor and talk about your options. Physical therapy might be a good start. Maybe get a second opinion from a chiropractor or orthopedic specialist. I would avoid weight lifting and running until you get looked at.

A GOOD chiro is a benifit for sure but your issue sounds more extremity related rather than spine which is what they mostly deal with. You're better off going to a primary first and they might send you to an orthopedic.

Definately seek professional help

I would avoid a chrio. They are not doctors, and will only delay/mask your real problems. Till you see a Real doctor, which should be your first go to.

I'll go to a clinic close by, just wasnt sure which was the way to go, I'll definitely mention the orthopedic on my visit. Thanks everyone for the input.

you may be right...but i bet 100% of chiros would find a way to recommend seeing a chiro 3x a week, just too easy $. They basically recommend the healthiest body/person to see em weekly :smh:

100% about the majority of them

That's why you need to find a good one. My chiro resolved my low back pain and posture. I was going 3x for 2 weeks then 1x. Now I just go once every 2 weeks or when I feel off. He never hits me with bs

I need a new pre workout. Something strong preferably. Any suggestions?

Fams for any of you looking for a PW. MP put out Wreckage not too long ago. I copped it on sale on BB like 3 weeks ago. I think its make up is towards Pre Jyms lane.

Idk what it is but I can't take a full scoop of it :x . Mind you I've taken Pre Jym, Pump Fuel Insanity, Alphamine(does nothing for me with 3 scoops) and Cellucor NO xtreme.
I get the similar anxious feeling when I took a scoop of Methyl pump before I returned that with the quickness. 3/4 scoop of Wreckage and I'm good. Gonna look more into the ingredients to see what might be too much for me in there. Here's the link

Im weening off my pwo. Been taking it for 5weeks now. So ill take a 6 week break. F first 2 days sucks

I usually go off of my Hyde for like 2 or 3 days before I get back on. Cardio sucks like a mug when I'm off it though :smh:

I don't feel like I'm dependent on it but I would be lying if I said I didn't feel like kaio-ken x20 Goku after a scoop

For all you runners, how do you guys deal with callous'?
I run a couple miles and start to get a callous. Thicker socks? Special socks? Or that's normal?
