Guys.. I still like the Obi Wan and Jango fight in the asteroid field and in the rain. >D

Do yourself a favor and watch it with a nice surround sound setup. Especially the space battle. I think its my favorite space battle in SW.

Guards fought and died with Honor against two freaks of Nature with superhuman abilities in one of the better choreographed action sequences in recent SW movies. Step back and go criticize about something else.

Kylo who was trained by Luke and Snoke spends most of the fight in state of near death meanwhile Rey is out here handling ******

I'm saying man can bring down a brick house, stop blaster fire, throw people into trees but cant stop a non-Force sensitive samurai from choking him out?

Throne room was lit tho. Red curtain is goals.

as elite as they may have been their reaction time is terrible. found those fights scenes tough to watch. the setting had so much potential but fell flat.

Those charges going off in the asteroid field :hat

Ben Burtt with the goat sound design

What is it in particular that I don't have a clue about?

Dude that last comment wasn't specifically directed toward you, was a general comment about how even a nice well choreographed scene, that we both agreed looked visually dramatic stunning still gets cheap shot. You've been willing to expand on your opinions and respect that. We may not entirely agree, but we're not that far off.

I checked back in after my last post and just saw usual B and Moan. Not always continuously online after post.

And then the other favorite part in surround sound at one minute 50 seconds...

The sound design in these movies...man.

The Last Jedi might be top three for me. Some of my favorite moments from a sound design perspective:

Each time a tie fighter or x-wing would fly past the bridge of a destroyer or cruiser the sound would echo through, coupled with rattling, which gave me a worn down, ethereal feel. Incredible detail which I never experienced in a SW movie.

The clashing of the sabers against the Proetorian Guards weapons, especially Kylo’s. That jagged, distortion juxtaposed with that visual red blade is excellent. Gives me a feeling of new age nostalgia.

Of course the score, especially during The Battle Of Crait.

what theater did you watch? i watched at an alamo drafthouse kinda annoying.. servers walking around during crucial parts and emotional parts of the movie kind of ruined the experience

I thought maybe I missed something about them. Nope, as that poster said they are basically high level samurai with elite level weapons. It shouldn’t take more than a force blast to clear the room of all of them.

In the revenge of the Sith, palps takes out two Jedi masters (if memory serves me correctly) within 5-7 seconds before he starts going ham with Mace.

Would of been way more lit if Snope had them under some sort of mind control and they were the other Knights of Ren.

And to have Rey face off against them in the throne room solo to test her skillz in the force.

Then Kylo sick of seeing his friends and also now his girl Rey (and himself) manipulated did that killing move.

Even better would of been an ending of the Knights then being out from under Snopes control and standing behind Kylo. Then Rey force blasting the entire room to get out of there after a force tug of pull with Kylo or some other Star Wars style escape (similar to how Potter and Voldemort locked up).

ehh sounds like you been playing too much battlefront lol

Lol never played but if that’s how it goes I’m down lol. I’ve read most Star Wars books etc so it’s just a big pet peeve when force strength is not relatively correct. Sith have been able to control entire armed armadas before and a few non force sensitive samurai doin battle with the Rylo!?
