^^^ I don’t dislike the Rey character and think Daisy Ridley is a solid actress, but this news doesn’t do much for me.

Just seems like focusing on another Jedi character- whoever it is - just going to lead to more repackaging of stuff we’ve already seen.

Maybe they’ll prove me wrong though.

Rey could have been a great Star Wars character. She shouldn’t be considered a Skywalker. It would have been more interesting in my opinion that she’s a Palpatine but she doesn’t let her heritage define her identity.
