Wow, that's crazy that she was convicted for warning shots. What was she convicted of? It seems like a good example of the unfortunate inconsistency of the justice system. I guess it's inevitable when you have different people on each jury who will interpret the facts differently and apply the law differently, but it's still an unfortunate aspect of the system.This already sort of happened except it was the woman who allegedly fired warning shots in the air. Or according to the police fired at her husband and children and is serving a 20 year sentence.
For the record Zimmerman's attorneys used self defense and not the stand your ground law.
After all the negativity that has come from this whole situation and trial, I really hope that it doesn't also lead to people thinking that they can just go and pick fights to shoot people. It will only lead to more death and ****** situations.
