I mean, the history’s of the country, the demographics, racial politics are all very similar. I know we separate them because of the continental divide but Brazilians are Americans at the end of the day, and they have a lot of the same perceptions and forces that have shaped their history that have shaped ours here in the U.S.

It seems like the football players stay away from politics for the most part in Brazil (except for the right wing guys like Moura) but I’m curious if any current players commented on what happened yesterday yet?

I get there are similarities. Huge population, Diversity, Land mass, etc

Here’s where there has never been a similarity tho - ECONOMICALLY.

Loved Gareth Bale’s game. The Speed and Power. One of the best Wingers ever.

Best British player of the 2010’s.

Prime BBC vs MSN era was so much fun too bro. La Liga will never get to those heights again.

Chelsea becoming one of those clubs I don’t want Portuguese players to end up at.

Not liking the Felix loan move rumor.

Go play under Harry Potter? Psh.

Not a Chelsea fan but looking at the positive of their transfer strat.
At least the new regime seems dedicate to achieve success.
A little directionless right now but seems to dedicate to the club.

Thank you Gareth for the many clutch and defining moments of an era

You can spend as much as you want but if there isn’t a solid structure at the club you won’t succeed.

Directionless like you said.

Mr. 4-4-4-3 Todd Boehly needs a solid DOF immediately. Then Potter has to go.

Speaking of Maignan tho. Still no timeline for his return.

Wonder what’s going on there.

Milan win yesterday if he was playing.

My best guess is that new board members and coaches aren't impressed with some of current players. It won't be easy to sell high wages players

Felix? I think it's more than just loan. I feel like Boehly wants to strengthen a business relationship with super agent Mendes after the Enzo situation

I am willing to have faith in Potter. It's unfair to judge him based on the result now. I think if we have players who have motivations or desires, team will play well under Potter

To be honest, Reece James and Ben Chily are the reasons why their attacking always looks great Even with Alonso, their attacking looked good too. Cururella looking awful. He needs to step up

Oh Marina. Miss you already

I miss her too. I wish Roman revamped scouting department when he had a chance

I agree about the Reece James and Chilly part, even under Tuchel, Chelsea suffered tremendously once those 2 got injured along with Kante

Behind every Russian male billionaire there’s a Slavic woman in the back doing the real work. Or some phrase like that.

Thank you lloris for your work. You captained France to another WC.

And Bale. A legend everywhere, but in Madrid just a rotational player. They’ll never know what they had
