You forgot Ed Reed is a way better playmaker.

He has something like 4 touchdowns this year. He always is making plays. Causing fumbles. Int's.

He is better.

Go check the record books. Dawkins is the ONLY player in NFL history to have 2 forced fumbles returned for TD's in one game. Dawkins isn't in hisprime anymore but I also would take him over Ed Reed who in his own right is a fantastic safety. But Brian Dawkins has always been a beast.

Reed is a better safety overall right now, but Dawk > Reed in the intangible column. And plus Dawk is a run stopping safety now. Reed's gonna be myfavorite active player when Dawk retires... safety is my favorite position.
