Meddling boosters and incompetent leadership. Typically the story you see at most of the schools with searches that draw out like this.

Harsin is a good coach and he knows that area from his time at Arkansas State.

That hire is out of left field though and definitely not plan A-D.

Playing bowl games (non playoff bowls) just seems like a scam to me. So many teams with losing records going to bowl games that just don't matter. Playing in empty stadiums going to "events" that probably won't happen anyway. Will schools still get money off of these games with no fans?
