Need to retroactively take away Dirk's 2007 MVP since they got bounced in the 1st rd.

Russ is more of an athletic freak than Bron is. Had two knee surgeries and came back stronger. His best comparison is Wade who really didn't fall off until around 32. I think at the very least Russ has 4 more seasons at this level.

Wade and Bron have waaay more finesse tied into their game than Russ does. Wade fell off because he got his meniscus removed.

You may have been to young to remember prime Wade. Fall 7 times get up 8.

Russ is an MVP on a 7th seed that gets blown out regularly, when his main competition is on a 3 seed and has better numbers when you consider efficiency?

No thanks.

Russ ain't going to have a sharp decline once his athleticism declines.

When you're THAT athletic....you're still athletic when you decline .

Plus, Russ is really skilled.

Those people that foolishly said "Bron would decline once he lost his athleticism" were some of the dumbest ***** on earth. Bron is one of the most skilled players ever. ***** thought cause he wasn't a lights out shooter....that meant he wasn't skilled.

Same crowd that said dumb **** like, "all Blake griffin does is dunk".

They never see the bigger picture

Well the funny thing is LeBron's athleticism hasn't really declined at all.  So it's impossible to know.

Prime example is Derrick Rose. He fell off and is still probably the 2nd best athlete at his position.

That's an interesting comparison, because you're right that Rose is still a great athlete.  However he's terrible at basketball now, so not clear what the takeaway is...

The takeaway is that great athletes can still be very good athletes when they "fall off"

Even Wade is getting you 19/5/4 at 35 years old

Bron's max level athleticism hasn't declined but his ability to play at that given level all the time has.

There was a time he was the best offensive and defensive player in the league when he was in Miami.

Now he doesn't even try on defensive until the playoffs, which is understandable for him at this point.

LeBron is probably the smartest basketball player right now along with being one of the most athletic
don't compare Russ to him. His bball iq isn't close
so using bron as an example to why he won't fall off isn't comparable
