Embiid is eligible for a 5/$150M extension this summer. What would y'all do?

Give him the money?
Trade him?
Take your chances in restricted FA?

Give him the money because that's a bargain if he stays healthy and if he doesn't they still would have room on the books.

You give him the $, because there is literally no other way of going about this. However, you gotta look at someone like Gilbert Arenas as a cautionary tale....
 
I wouldn't give Embiid an extension this summer/fall. Let him play out next season and decide from there.

Ideally an extension would have protections like incentives and non-guarantees in it, but that is probably unlikely.
