I don't think that statement needs to be dignified with any rebuttal.Way too inconsistent over the course of his career to be labeled best. Prisoner of the moment type statements coming from espn, shocking.

Meril Hodge just called Joe Flacco the best QB in the NFL...god I hate ESPN sometimes.
jags new logo and secondary
On ESPN's 'Football Today' Podcast they talk a lot about how Justin Smith holds every play for Aldon to get his sacks, that it's been pointed out by many coaches but that defensive holding basically never gets called. I think since Justin's triceps injury has prevented him from holding as well, Aldon's been struggling.
Matty ice on da list #GetMad
to put it in context he did preface his list by saying he was 'living in the moment'.At the utter disrespect everyone on that list. Brees, Drew #$% Brees is not even in the discussion to this guy
Mike and Mike discussed his list this morning. They said it was based on who was the best right now...As in today. Not who you'd start a team with or who is the best based on track record. That makes the list a little more bearable, but it's still pretty f'in bad.[/quote
That makes it even worse not having Brees or Manning!
Why the **** is Matt Schaub on that board
and right by Brees?
:x
Based on Merrill Hodge's opinion tho so there's that
