EB wasn't right for what he did, but he wasn't Scot Peterson either. Why make war out of a scuffle? To prove a point? OK, but who wins? If she was happy with dude, is it really worth breaking up with him for something small because it's almost like something big? If so, then you might as well live your whole life like that. Every time something almost happens, make sure you let that determine your next move. If you almost get into a car accident, don't ever ride in one again despite how useful cars have been for you in the past. Apparently, their former usefulness and their value in the future isn't worth it because you almost crashed. Get a razor scooter.

If this were EB talking about how he caught his girl E-flirting I'm sure you and 95% of NT's would have thrown her under the bus a long time ago.
On some real, I was in the bed with my girl at 2Am and she got a text from some dude. I didn't get mad. I explained to her why that was foulafter I calmly told dude he was wasting his time. He got ignant. I got sarcastic and witty and made him look foolish.Me and my lady GREW from that. It didn't happen again. Dude was all the way in Chicago why we were 200+ miles away in Muncie. The moral: Its several waysto handle situations like that, but the first thing you should do is assess whether the situation is indeed a realistic threat to your relationship. If itisn't, don't make it into a top priority fight. Just address it calmy and work through it for the better of your union.
No, this is two separate things. This dude flirting with chicks on the internet... after she had talked to him about it before. Now to you it maynot be a big deal. But she had expressed before that she has a problem with this and these are her standards. Now we dont even have to compare this tocheating. But having an insecure dude is a problem at least for me it is... so i look at it like this. I told you something bothered me, you do it again. Imyoung and theres to many fish in the sea to be dealing with some insecure **$!%. If he admitted that its an issue in our relationship that caused him to dothis then we can work it out. But he didnt so its a personal issue. Now i can stick with you while you work on yourself or i can bounce shes not obligated todo anything or feel sorry for him.Originally Posted by DearWinter219

How would you feel if this was your girl flirting on myspace?
Can't tell me you would be upset...I know I would.
Again, it's none of my business...
I just have too much pride to let something like this slide.

For one, it seems like you weren't ready to be exclusive. No, there isn't such a thing as "e-cheating," but if you were doing something that you had to hide around your girl, you should have asked yourself if it was even worth it in the first place. It's easy to have friends that are female without crossing that line. I can see why your girl was pissed at you. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, and maybe you should just use this as a lesson. Stay single for a while, enjoy the fruits of blackplanet, migente, facebook, or whatever you were doing that caused this rift. Get everything out of your system until you can meet someone that is worth it to you, to give all of your "e-chicks" up.
