Minnesota Timberwolves Offseason Thread

Miller in the fold opens the floor much more for everyone...espically Love and Jefferson. I would expect 2-3 three's a game from Miller just on kickoutsfrom those two. It really spreads the floor IMO

His contract does become valuable soon as well...only two years left for what 7 million per? He won't be here to see us get back to the playoffs again butI can defintely see him being a valuable trade asset before the 2010 trading deadline.

I am estatic we re-signed Telfair...and CBN thanks for the pointless comment in the thread, btw Buffalo might be getting some raptor games soon so take that

just curious....what are you going to do with Miller?
I thought you were trying to rebuild....
Good point........but Miller's still only 28. You can be rebuilding but you dont have to do it with 15 players all 23 years old. At some pointthe team has to get some talent to add to the mix, and Miller provides things this team sorely lacks. Plus he's basically a hometown kid who gladly wantedto come to the team.

The Wolves basically started the rebuilding effort a year ago so they are in year 2. It's time to start making a move.

The Telfair signing was probably needed. Sounds like it is for 2 years which will give him another fairly short tryout to see what his role in this league isgoing to be. And he has a chance to be pretty good. The thing with Telfair is that (once again) he has to start caring about playing defense.

just curious....
I like Miller a lot and I knew that Memphis was going to deal him, it was just unexpected that they would do it for OJ Mayo and Marco Jaric, but then againChris Wallace is the grissles GM
