again, who is expecting him to start? We're paying him a prorated portion of his contract which only comes out to 492k. If anything he provides depth, andmay return kicks. It's a low-risk signing. All Deangelo Hall is doing this season is playing for another contract next year. He signed the deal under thepremise he wouldn't be franchised, so he is looking to get another deal at some point afther this season is over. We need help in our nickel/dime packages, and he's an immediate upgrade over both Smoot and especially Leigh Torrance. Anyways, some of yall are making it seem like the skins were the only teamgoing after him. Pats, Steelers, and Ravens had also shown interest. Skins could sign Jesus Christ as a long-snapper, and you would find something wrong withthat. Again, it's an extremely low-risk move. We have good veteran leadership on our team, and if he gets out of line there will be London Fletcher, Griff, etc to keep him in check. Hopefully this signing goes as well as when we got Darryl Gardner a few years back....a lot of question marks surrounding him, but heplayed his #*@ off and was a huge contributor. We'll see what happens...
