Meangelo Hall to ******** LOOOOOOOL

again, who is expecting him to start? We're paying him a prorated portion of his contract which only comes out to 492k. If anything he provides depth, andmay return kicks. It's a low-risk signing. All Deangelo Hall is doing this season is playing for another contract next year. He signed the deal under thepremise he wouldn't be franchised, so he is looking to get another deal at some point afther this season is over. We need help in our nickel/dime packages, and he's an immediate upgrade over both Smoot and especially Leigh Torrance. Anyways, some of yall are making it seem like the skins were the only teamgoing after him. Pats, Steelers, and Ravens had also shown interest. Skins could sign Jesus Christ as a long-snapper, and you would find something wrong withthat. Again, it's an extremely low-risk move. We have good veteran leadership on our team, and if he gets out of line there will be London Fletcher, Griff, etc to keep him in check. Hopefully this signing goes as well as when we got Darryl Gardner a few years back....a lot of question marks surrounding him, but heplayed his #*@ off and was a huge contributor. We'll see what happens...

But don't be surprised if Hall regains his Pro Bowl form with Washington. The 'Skins feature a blitz-heavy scheme that encourages its corners to aggressive play short-to-intermediate throws. Hall's knack for reading the quarterback should fit in nicely within the scheme. In addition, his new position coach (Jerry Gray) is one of the best at teaching the nuances of the position. If Hall takes to his coaching, he will learn how to properly gamble in the back end without exposing himself to negative plays. Gray transformed Samari Rolle into a Pro Bowl player as a Titan, and he could take Hall's game from good to great in Washington.

Cut that out dude, we don't allow objective assessments on here, just unnecessary hating. He even talked about why Hall fits in well with ourscheme. What does he know! HALL SUCKS. GTFOOHWTBS

^ Ytwo need to stop up there. One of the most hyper-critical Nter's when it came to Dhall was doublej's. I'm all for being optimistic but to tryand spin this as a good signing....come on now. He really does suck. Thank god the Skins took this dude off the table. I would cry if he came to Dallas.

First off, that was a excerpt from SI....those weren't my words. Second, I know dude has been trash. I'm not expecting him (nor is anyone else) tostart. He's playing the role of nickel/dime CB. All I said was that it was a good signing for depth purposes because Springs is made of glass, Torrenceis horrible, and Tryon just ain't ready to play in the NFL. Los and Springs have their starting roles etched in stone. Playing him 492k for the remainderof the season is an EXTREMELY low-risk. If it works out, then great...if not, we cut ties at the end of the year. Deangelo Hall is playing for anothercontract, so he may be motivated to prove people wrong. I have my doubts, but since he's on my favorite team, what can I do BUT support him?

Your a funny dude. And Iactually LIKE the skins. [DoubleJs] D Hall sucks (two weeks later) D. Hall was a good signing [/DoubleJs]

Umm you posted on the second page it was a good pick up and the link being "anything is possible"....but that is beside the point because like I saidI'm all for optimism when it comes to your team. and I get that its low-risk, but why take any risk with this clown? He's one injury away from beingthe number two guy. You know teams have got to be licking their chops at that. And he isn't worth the headache. What make you think when it gets roughhe'll let London or Cornelius get in his ear. Thats Ipod time man!

how u gonna attempt to call me out, when u r the dude who makes up fantasy trades for mike vick?

[jetpac] Atlanta trades the rights to Mike Vick to Oakland for a 2011 1st round pick, Art Shell, and Madden 03. [/jetpac]

u r reaching "bruh"....

for the 10th time...it's a low-risk move...so why would I have a problem with it?

Says the guy with Tony Romo as his starting QB. Right before he got hurt he wasn't even playing good better than Campbell. I'm not even a 'Skins fan btw.
Are you kidding me? Maybe not lights out but he was pretty good.

I'll back track on that statement. He wasn't playing better than Jason Campbell.
You are ridiculous..

I hear you on a lot of your points....

I was just saying it was a good pick up from the perspective that for a team which needs depth at the CB spot, it was a low-risk move, and for 492k why not? The only part that scares me (like u said) is that he is an injury away from being the #2 guy. With Springs' history, that may very well happen before theend of the season. I just really hope that some of the vets can keep homie in check. I have doubts about him, because he has been sub-par on the field andproven to be a real knucklehead when things don't go well. Like I said before, it's going to be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

Hall getting paid 8 million to be a "shut-down" corner in Oakland - yeah, he "sucked"

500k to be the 4th CB on a team with veteran leadership - "good pick-up"

Why doesn't that make sense?

Do you not understand logic? If a player is paid to be the shutdown corner on the team and he is the #1 guy, of course people's expectations are going tobe high for him and if he doesn't perform they are gonna call him out. When you are bringing him in on a one year contract soley for DEPTH, you aren'texpecting much. So how the hell is it not a good move to bring in a guy who was once tabbed to be a #1 corner as one of your backups for cheap, on a one yeardeal? Even though I never hated on Dlo, even if I had that wouldn't mean I couldn't see it as a potentially good signing.

Hell, even if he was signed just to do punt returns I think it could be a good deal. For only $492k? I'll take it.

Cowgirls fans are clearly idiots.

How can picking up a former pro-bowl CB for 1 year @ less than $500,000, a bad move? He'll play in the nickle and serve as a sub.

Yall can "

Good for Washington...low risk, high reward. With that being said, I don't see DeAngelo regaining that Pro Bowl form anytime soon. He's been just awfulthis year.

Skins fans looking like a %!*%*%+ joke.

Yall excuse this move by saying it's low risk. I don't know, but there was another low risk move made in this division that I'm not sure many ofyou thought was good. Meangelo brings nothing to the table on the field, and everything you don't want off the field. I hope this blows up in the Skinsface.

Glad ******** got him! He has been my favorite player since VTech!

Not gonna lie... i did forget about him when he went to Oakland but now that he a Skins!!!
