There are some extreme wish-ful activists here, calling for un-necessary types of protests. There's no need to make this bigger than it already is. There's no need to tell fans and players to boycott cames and start some MLK type movement. Goodness. Adam Silver did the most common sense thing. Was it ever a doubt that Sterling was going to get banned?

Yeah but the longer he fights the less the is worth, if he sells now atleast he would get more now then when the players start leaving. I think more likely he'd try an end around like trying to sell to a family member to keep the team in the family

He's a smart guy, and he purposely challenges the norm. At times, I think he makes comments just to keep the fire going. I don't think we need to watch the video, but he proally challenged the punishment, or brought up another point that might make others 'frown'. haha

In contrast to him lauding Silver for his actions today,
she basically stated that there is nothing to be applauded today; as what he did was his job and that alone.
She continues to point out that the NBA stood by with the knowledge of Sterling's character all these years,
today's actions are nothing but hypocritical.
Stephen A. Smith retorted with pointing out the hypocrisy of the local chapter of the NAACP.

I know you didn't think any ruling on Sterling was gonna solve the problem of racism in America as a whole
So lets just stop there.
One racist owner banned from the league. That's a good thing.
If other owners are the same way the evidence will be there to be found or they'll be exposed eventually. You can't go around policing thought and how ppl feel. Racists gonna racist. Once they start doing it openly and freely is when action can be taken.

Silver didn't have to give him a life time ban and could have went easier on him, but he didn't.
There was never concrete proof and weren't most of those situations un-related to the NBA. Millionaires are constantly being sued by those hoping for a settlement.

Me and my older brother has been talking about this since the audio was released. Dude was saying some deeper next level stuff that got overshadowed by the racist comments.
