Leaked audio of Donald Sterling telling his girlfriend "Don't bring black people to my games"

I don't think he did anything wrong. He was simply talking to his wife in an controlled manner. He ain't going out lynching black folks or selling nooses. He was simply telling his GF how he felt about the situation.

Y'all call sleazy women every name in the book, does that mean you hate them? Does it mean you go out ta your way to distance yourself from them? No

He can call a white person, black, asian, Hispanic, or whatever anything he wants, that's his choice to speak that way. I do it all the time. It don't mean I hate them.

I've seen many black comedians proudly say the love black people but hate ******. Is that not be prejudice? But if a white person said it they'd get lynched, blacks will cry themselves a river until that person looses everything they own crawl into a cave and die.

You're low key one of the dumbest people on nt, maybe the planet. What's going on? Nt always use to have its idiots, but its at an all time high. Sad part is they don't know. I wish the people in your lives were more responsible. Hold off on the urge to say anything after this too, once I got you pegged I'm not even gonna read your ****.

Why is this a shock to anyone at all? This is who Donald Sterling is. If she can't be racist in her heart, I hope she has the courage to leave him.

You were on worldstar talkin this same dumb ish. I peeped that.

Your spin tactic is not working chief, he has a problem with her being seen in public with blacks as if she isn't half black. Opinion or not, telling someone not to embrace another race publicly is wrong. I sincerely hope the clippers tank the series and every game until this guys out.

Agreed.  Sterling has been running this team into the ground for years before he got lucky with Blake and CP3 showing up.  I hope many around the league will see these comments and refuse to play for this clown.  As a Suns fan its hard for me to root for anybody this playoff, but Golden State just became my new favorite team.  Come on Steph!

Honestly, I like the Clipper players and it just dawned on me that they can be really successful. Before, you didn't pay them any mind because they sucked and you felt it was just right for Sterling as an owner to have a horrible team (aside for being cheap and not wanting to pay). Now if they go far in the playoffs, it would be bittersweet for me as a basketball fan knowing how this person is. From evicting minority families from LA property that he owns, to discriminating in housing as well as other egregious acts. I wonder how many players are actually aware of this. If there are, I would have reservations about playing for an owner like this. I hope somewhere down the line someone is aware but takes a stand against him, but it's not likely.

I wonder if he asked Doc what makes you think he can coach these _'s during the interview process

Word to Massimino

I wonder who on ESPN (or any other sports cast) is going to try and rationalize this and bush it under the rug?

You're a special type of stupid if you don't see this as racism.

This whole situation is incredibly stupid tho.

And I'm sure nobody on the team will say anything. Which is kinda sad because most of them could go and play somewhere else...

Anyone on that "I'm not shocked", "You should expect that" nonsense is most likely a loser.

This not not normal and those are warped, defeatist attitudes that have taken over your psychology.

This is a rare, tangible insight into the invisible shackles that still hold people in this nation in slavery.

Surprised by some of the comments in here. The racial opinions on NT range from people who see racism in anything to people who can't see racism when it's blatant. There's no middle ground.:lol

Yeah, there's no middle ground at all :rolleyes

So instead of placing the blame on Sterling, you choose to post this. Interesting. Says a lot about you chief.

The people who aren't shocked most likely are aware of what occurs in this country, much less the accusations against Sterling over the past ten years.

And I'm sure it's not that rare.

Too bad this story got you out of your bubble.

The state of Blacks in America is perpetuated by Blacks who feel like overt racism is just the way of American life and "Black people are sensitive."

Our educational system conditions Blacks and every Other race of student that Black history begins with slavery and the White savior is a common theme. This causes many Blacks to grow up subconsciously accepting a role of inferiority. It shows when speaking properly is called talking white and being educated is called acting white. This phenomenon added to the already terrible notion that white = educated and powerful and black = cool and dumb.

Everyone doesn't believe that, but that conditioning as a whole allows situations like Trayvon Martin, Rodney King, the Fruitvale Station thing, etc. to happen. The fact that generally speaking Black males have to be more careful than anyone else in this country, the mass incarceration, and even the "Chiraq" situation are matters of conditioning. Therefore, concepts like "who cares? Racists exist. It doesn't affect me, I don't care." creates an environment where Blacks don't know their own worth and the powers that be recognize that.

So while some of you may think it doesn't matter, that way of thinking is why Black America has so many ****** up things going on in it. When the educational system changes, things will change. But people think on a situational basis instead of connecting things. By isolating every situation and concept, Blacks will be kept in the dark (especially our children)

And no everything isn't racist and the N word is very low on our list of problems so don't come at me with any ******** like that.

Don't know if that old white money is that serious or if the girl is that much of a thot

But he got hella control lol, got her saying "I wish I could change the color of my skin"

She cute tho

I wonder if black people will stop supporting the Clippers

More importantly I wonder if CP3 and the other brothers on the Clippers will do anything

ESPN is probably just scrambling to figure out how to spin this. They still have Clipper games to air. And if they dont mention it once, unless they fire Stephen A, he will def bring it up once he gets on tv.

The N word is a product of what you're talking about. So it needs to be addressed just like those situations.

There is no priority, all of it needs to be addressed.

And what does any of this have to do with Donald Sterling?

So we're to blame for him being racist?

Magic Johnson is worth a whole lot more money than he is, and Donald Sterling thinks of him just like the rest of us.

Guess he has enough of us on the court and coaching staff.[/quote]

You that slow? You need to be helped along? There are black people in this thread with the mindset I spoke on AND I blamed the educational system fool.

she was probably trying to implicate him by saying those remarks, but being with him this long... puts a price onher dignity and self respect :{

And why is it always the responsibility of the victims of racism to do better? Owner says racist remarks...well CP3 has to do something or else, what about Adam Silver and other owners of the league who have more power and sway? But of course it comes back us to do better
