To be fair…Bron literally watched him walk down the lane and score, then throw his hands up.
Don't mind me just here looking for those LeBron fans making excuses for him.
I'm not asking him to pick someone up from the baseline, but effort. I have seen him play for years I know he picks and chooses on defense, but these past couple of years he hasn't even put in the effort consistently. Move up to the paint and force the guy to make the pass, who is in the corner since Bron is guarding them. Good chance he isn't a good three point shooter.Bron should've stepped in the lane on that, but obviously that ball would've immediately went to the corner for a wide open 3.
The effort wasn't there last night. Bron and his teams usually do this when they're trying to prove a point and is usually a precursor to a trade. But not usually this early in the season and not this bad His effort his been awful this season at times, but I get it, to a point.
This thread was opened in 2016.
We had DLo, Randle, Ingram, Clarkson, Nance Jr, and Zubac from the Mitch era.
In the 2017 Draft we chose Zo over Jason Tatum. We've fired like 5 coaches since then, but not the GM that did that.
Maybe someday we will fire Kobe's agent.
Worst case, he's allowed to relax while we finish up the Bron retirement/father/son 82 games tour, and then is allowed to try to re-shape the roster AGAIN, post Lebron.
Don't think they could sign him if he gets bought out because he makes more than the MLE.Speaking of Lonzo....
Thinking he gets moved and/or bought out. Feel like CHI roster gon look completely different after the deadline.
We stink
Maybe...Think it’s just time to blow it up. We can’t do much with an incomplete roster and management. Jeanie is gonna lead us into mediocrity for a really really long time.
I meant blow it up metaphorically. Of course we have not trade value in Bron, and with each passing season, it lowers for AD. I meant just give up expecting to be a trade away from improvement.Maybe...
I guess if there's a team that's willing to give a haul of young players and/or picks for AD then you have to do it, but I don't really see a team that are a player like AD away from contending and have the assets to get a deal done.
Otherwise, no one is really trying to trade for a $50 million dollar declining star who may only have another season or two left in him.
Honestly I just look at it this way...
No need to rush into any rebuild, this team's situation will naturally evolve over time... just enjoy what you can while it lasts.
- Contracts expiring this season: DLo, Wood, Cam, Hayes, Max Lewis (partial guarantee...probably waived)
- Contracts expiring next season: Bron, Rui, Austin (probably opts out), Bronny (LMAO, partial guarantee...probably waived)
Lemme mess around with the trade machine and see if I can cook up something that makes sense... just for fun of course.Think Bron has value this trade deadline with the Warriors, IF he wants a change. Dont think it makes sense to move AD yet. Maybe in the summer to maximize value.
I did already and it's kind of difficult because the Lakers can't take in more money in a trade and the Warriors are hardcapped too. But it can be done with a third team.Lemme mess around with the trade machine and see if I can cook up something that makes sense... just for fun of course.
