I think she was trying to stay neutral until she figured out what Corlys wanted to do and who they wanted to pledge to. Once Corlys comes back, they talk it out and pledge to Rhaenyra. She even offers to patrol the stepstones with her dragon to secure it for Rhaenyra.

Called it when the season started. The Queen That Never Was, was just a quiet storm all along. She put on that armor and became Rhaenys City out there patrolling the skies for opps by herself.

TWD has gotten so bad that its honestly laughable...

Guess Rhae-bae found out why we send Ravens instead of a possible heir to the throne to send messages.

But for real, if Baratheon accepted his deal from Almond right then and there, whyyyyy didn’t he kidnap Luke as hostage? You’ve recognized that person as your enemy. Why let him go?

Cuz he didn’t.

He was just ****ting on how poor Luke’s offer was.

He made no decisions at that point.

In his own pompous way he basically told Luke to tell his mom to come back with a better offer.

He can only say so much given both sides got dragons.

Lucerys saw Vhaegar parked in the Curbside Pickup when he got to Storm’s End and still walked in…. Lord Strong is never “just a messenger” to Eyepatch.

Loved season 1 for most part. Especially as it helped ease the pain of disappointment the Rings of power brought.

Everything going to ish in season 2 for sure. Daemon lowkey rubbing his hands like birdman when he heard about Lucerys :smh:

That episode number is bigger than all of GOT's first 6 seasons, the brand is strong

Hopefully all that success gets some of these other ASOIAF spinoffs greenlit.

Either that or turning it into a Targaryen anthology series like the showrunners have hinted at would be amazing.

They've got events like the Doom of Valeria, Aegon I's conquest, Robert's rebellion and the Blackfyre rebellions that they could cover under the HOTD banner after the Dance is over.
