Dressing Better Vol 2.0

has anyone purchased or seen the Allen Edmond Brooks Strand? I tried looking for pics, but didn't come up with anything.
How different are they from the regular strands?
Found this pair today on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brooks-Brothers-Allen-Edmonds-Strand-9-5C-/281157208902#vi-content

And Dappered said they are actually called Brooks Brothers Medallion: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Medal...102&siteID=th9ILo5LtqE-43sscbVKoXU66oy9bYtd0g

You can see what Pinoy was talking about with the sole.

Cool shoes, but even though you dress up a lot(for work it seems), you have far too many of the same shade of shoes that look pretty much the same. Big waste.

 If that's your take on it then so be it. I'm not one to tell another man what he should/shouldn't spend his money on.

No disrespect bro. I know the hater crew about to respond to me, but just never understood the overload of having so many similar shoes. Cut your collection in a 1and  1/2 and the basics are covered and you can still be fly.

This guy right here pretty much has the essentials down without having 50 pairs of shoes that look the same. Basic and clean is all that matters. But keep doing you bro.

thanks!

^ Thats way too many pair of shoes for my taste but I prior NAVY and my possessions could fit into a foot locker. I tend to sell stuff when I get too much stuff.

If I found AEs for $10 on the reg I would probably have just as many "dressier" shoes in my collection

Nice pics though, A.

Thanks J. That's what you guys have to keep in mind. There's a bunch of thrifted joints in there. Hell, none of my proper dress shoes were retail..
Take the two black loafers for example. Thrifted a pair by Botticelli for $15 then a pair by Cheaney for $1.95. Currently working to sell the first pair but why not include it in my "collection pic". Otherwise, yeah there might be similar colors but I take notice to differ between my captoes and wingtips and my balmorals and bluchers. The ones that come close to repeating were likely deals, thrifts, or transitional pieces.

If people were to see the amount of "brown" shoes I have they'd consider your amount tame.

Grow up. Seriously, stop concerning yourself where people spend their money on or on what. That's just childish.

Thrifting is a good look once you have the basics covered. I'm at the point where I wish I could go back and exchange four or five AE's I bought new, for one pair of bespoke G&G's (or something similar).

When I was in shoe buying mode I was getting 40% off AE retail from a store manager, so I loaded up. Now I don't even wear half of them. :smh:

Dudes be trippin, yo
If I strike out on some Nike/Jordan release, I'm coming in here and bashing all you cats.

PS...any L.A. dudes wanna link up before the summer is over? I've only met George on here. Would be rad to meet the others too.

Not even DB related, but just spent several hours at the gym...was hooping and made like 4 threes out of 20 attempts. I was lighting it up :pimp:
