Donald Trump is running for president

Where we differ is that I don't see Obama as the bad guy you do. Unity is the goal, sure, but what "white" conservative America doesn't seem to like is pointing out the bias and the system(s) that exist because of that bias. That's the status quo. That bias is wrong. If The devisiveness is coming from the Left, Obama, and even more so Sanders challenging that bias then so be it. The fact that people are up in arms because equality across the board is being sought, that's a problem.

Basically.

Conservative whites are in their feelings. Have been since the black man with a funny name got into office. They feel like they're "losing the country" to minorities.

Why do you think Trump started his campaign off with building a wall? Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic in this country. What better way to appeal to bigoted, poor whites them to tell em "Hey, we're gonna make sure we keep all them Mexicans out". For real, Trump's campaign started back when he was questioning if Obama was born in America and if he was Muslim.

Fact is, poor white America is scared

They're scared that minorities will soon become majority, they're scared that their mortality rate is increasing while everyone else's is decreasing and they're scared because America has proven they'll not only vote in a minority for President but even give him a second term.

Trump taps into all their fears. That's why he's in the lead. Not because of policies, not because of experience, but because he's promising to "make America great again". Which means "make America white again".
??? lmao wth.

What is happening is a successful businessman is running for office who built a billion dollar business and has first hand experience creating jobs and lowering costs, unlike any politician, and Trump is not dividing the country by race and gender like the political hacks hillary and obama do.
.

He built a billion dollar business because he got millions of dollars from running his dad's company. He is not some self made man.

Many of his business have been outright failures

And he didn't "create" jobs. Demand in the American economy did.

-----And are you trying to say Obama is dividing the country because he black, and Hillary is doing it because she is a woman?

^^ ur saying trump is more divisive than obama and hillary? You sound "intelligent" indeed.

Focus little man, different posters. Here are actual Trump quotes:

“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.”

“Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.”

Plus his call for a ban on Muslims entering the country etc etc.

Now again in regards to your quote : "Trump is not dividing the country by race and gender like the political hacks hillary and obama do. " Qualify that with some facts and sense. Give us an opportunity to see that you're not completely dense, and possibly racist. Help yourself here.

I see the idiots have shown their face in here again.

Trump isn't divisive, eh?

They're the same in the sense that neither should be doing well, at all. I don't care what they stand for, but something has changed drastically over the last 8 years. You can blame whatever elements you want but Obama is at the center of it, and that has been my point from the beginning.

There will countless books and lectures on what's going on right now. Both candidates defy contemporary political logic and rules. What we're seeing is a complete reversal in traditional election politicing.

I think you already know I don't give a **** about race relations. When I said both sides feel disenfranchised I'm talking political parties. If you want to call it black and white, feel free but I'm not going there.
And you are black? What I want to know is why you think that way and how you can justify that, especially as a black man.

Not here to troll you, I genuinely want to know because this is a pretty baffling statement.

So RicoHood and Rocky, are you guys going to vote for your buddy Trump in the primaries?

Rico says he is not registered with a party, he uses that as a reason why his opinions are "unbiased" :rolleyes :lol

What ultimately matters are incentives and the Democratic Party cannot afford to be divisive and rely on identity politics. We have to assemble diverse coalitions in order to win. We get and we need near unanimous support from the black community, a super majority of Latino voters and Asian voters and we need a sizable minority of white voters in order to win (which we get by appealing to LGBT whites as well as secular and educated whites as well as single women of all education levels).

On the other hand, Republicans often times have to be divisive and rely upon identity politics. They have to tell the story that white and christian people are under siege from some enemy du jour. Black people, college professors, journalists, BLM, OWS, anti-war activists, Muslims, gays, young people, Mexicans, movie stars, rappers, trans people, secularists, New Yorkers, environmentalists, someone has to be the enemy and the GOP uses that narrative to drive voter turnout.

Are there some liberals who go too far in condemning whites, men, capitalism, Christianity, gun owners and rural Americans, of course there are. However, the majority of liberals embrace and welcome people from all backgrounds. I, personally, believe that businessmen, rural people, older whites and Christians should embrace social Democracy and help to enrich it. If we are to have Social Democracy in a country as vast as ours, we need input and participation from all sorts of people.

It is not about virtue or a lack thereof, it is about demographics and incentives. Democrats cannot be divisive as a general strategy whereas Republicans must be in order to win elections.

@ Trump losing Iowa. Hopefully his fade into oblivion begins now.
It will be legit hilarious to see him try to shock his way into relevance. He spent his A material:

Building the wall around the Mexican border and making Mexico pay for it

Deporting 10 million people out of the country

Making a registry of Muslims living in the country

Not allowing Muslims to enter the country

Dodging debates

Wonder what he'll come up with next.

I legit want trump to win so the GOP have to have a hard reboot and finally cut the pandering to the extreme groups..

Focus on legit fiscal responsibility.. Talk about the absurd and wasted military spending.. Talk about reduction of taxes for all, which would result in having to cut social programs (but focus on hard working individuals not having to take on the burden for the entire country)

I know, I have mixed feelings about DonaLd losing. I thought that the Republicans might take their "Look, it's snowing outside, so how can there possibly be global warming?" short sightedness to the polls and pick Trump, but maybe they aren't quite as dumb as they seem and are starting to realize that there's no way the Democrat nominee doesn't win if they go against Trump.

You guys do realize that the GOP hate Cruz just as much as Trump right? Their prized pony is Rubio. Cruz's ground game in Iowa is the reason he won. I do expect Trump to win NH and many more states. The Circus has officially started.
