Donald Trump is running for president

Was I defending the man's words? Was I claiming the anti Trump GOP establishment an ally?

No.

I was commenting on how funny it was for you to use a Nazi comparison, when Trump himself are championing Nazi like policies. And his supporters love him for that.

The irony of that fact made me laugh

So you can hold the lecture about "writing people off". Which again is funny, considering we are talking about Trump supporters

we have different definitions of the word lecture. i mean there is literally 2 sentences about it. if u saw irony in the statement and was humored by it then *shrugs*

If he wins tomorrow then we have to deal with the embarrassment that a white nationalist is a presidential nominee :{

Given all the problems he's caused in the GOP I kinda rooted for him. They leeched on to this guy years ago and now he's managed to hijack the nomination. General elections are usually a coin flip and the fact this dude has 50/50 shot is sickening. I think he's screwed when it comes to demographics but as the nominee its still close.

Only way he's winning the general election is if he's running against O'Malley. :lol

The damage he's done to the GOP may be irreversible though. The minority population is going up and all Trump has done is chased minorities away. They're going to do TONS of damage control if he's the nominee.

Don't like Trump, blame Obama. If he wasn't such a failure then Hillary or Jeb would be on top. His divisive policies have made far right and left candidates appealing. The little bit of trust that was there for the political class is completely gone. #thanksobama

Lmao. Stop it fam.

People are supporting Trump because it feeds their inner racist and allows them to "feel" connected to someone who's really, really rich. Obama has nothing to do with this outside of being black.

Trump has NO specifuics in any of his proposals. Dude is straight running on xenophobia. This has damn near nothing to do with actual politics or policies.

More like blame Romney.. after he lost republicans don't care about being moderate at all.

Trump is the GOP created player in real life.

Obama ran in 2008 on equally vague policy proposals during the primaries. It wasn't until the general election that he started giving specifics.

And Republicans are more likely to vote in primaries than Democrats. If race is the single driving force behind Trump's rise and not policies then by your logic Romney and McCain would have won in 08 and 12. But for some reason this country electedo Obama twice. Obama has created an anti establishment sentiment and now the candidates who should easily be leading are struggling to gain a foothold. Rubio and Bush should be leading on the right instead of Trump and Cruz and Hillary and O'Malley should be leading on the left. In a normal political climate Sanders shouldn't stand a chance...ever. The pendulum has always swung back and forth durung some elections but never like this.

Donald Trump is like the kid who runs for class president and wins based on promising Pizza and ice cream everyday. He says what you want to hear. But you know damn well you can't eat that all the time and be functional

I always voted for that kid and never got pizza or ice cream :{

Tell me about the class president that did deliver on his promises.

I hope Trump gets the nomination. It would be great.

He gets people interested in politics that probably weren't even going to vote in a Sarah Palin kind of way.

Trump is the big ******* chicken that came home to roost after decades of "we don't like the government" from the GOP.

What a crock of **** from a tap dancing idiot. "the political class" do you hear yourself? Your yearning to be a part of something you're not truly welcome in is apparent and pathetic.

The only thing you can blame Obama for is being black

That what really has Trump supporters pissed off

He has been willing to compromise with the right, but the GOP from day one said they would not give him bipartisanship

They were desperate, so they started to pander to white nationalist groups like the Tea Party to get back some control

And Trump has come along and taken advantage of the GOP rustling the far right for years for political gain.

Still the same broke *** Cornball brother who thinks that by regurgitating far right talking points that they will finally take pity on him and let him through the gate, by their side. His ****ning is sickening to watch.

Obama has created an anti establishment sentiment
The failure of Congress & the Senate are responsible for the strong anti-establishment sentiment in this country. The gridlock has taken it's toll on everyone. Now add the drastic growth in income inequality and you have today's current climate. Not only are your constant attacks on Obama grossly ignorant, they validate that your opinion on politics should never be taken seriously.

What on Earth are you talking about? Because I recognize that there's a political class means I'm trying to join their ranks? Every national election you can usually guess who will be running if you pay attention and in a regular political climate you can also guess who will win. That's not the case in 2016.

This is why I don't even have political debates you all anymore, you resort to petty name calling and partisan rhetoric instead of discussing the ideas. Obama's presidency definitely changed the political climate and that's what led to the ruse of Trump and Sanders. I honestly can't see how people can say otherwise.

Dudes posts used to rustle me but they are just laughable at this point. The only thing that baffles me is how someone can be so idiotic like there's seriously ppl out there that legit think like dude :x :lol

i swear trump gotta be part of the democratic party and is there to troll the republicans

The approval rate of Congress has been low for decades. Americans have distrusted them for years. So you really can't blame those institutions because this paradigm shift would have happened years ago but far left and right candidates have historically had a hard time gaining a foothold. But over the last 8 years it has become the norm.

You're seriously trying to sound intelligent, objective, with a good sense of politics and the issues after you just blatantly blame One person for the nation's ills? No facts, no verified truth, just again ******** regurgitated talking points? Are you serious? It's not petty if you're calling a spade a spade.

No I blame Obama for the current political climate. I stated that from the jump. And if I've said anything untrue, please let me know.

But I'm done. The NT group think is starting to show itself. No sense in continuing this discussion.

I don't even know what Rico is talking about, "divisive politics". I guess that's what happens when the economy is creating jobs, more Americans have healthcare, gas prices are low, etc, etc.

That's when you just start making up stuff like Obama is a failure because Congress doesn't get along.

Not a stubborn Congress, not the pandering to the base level fears of white America, not the rise of the tea party, not the increased exposure of corruption and racism etc etc etc, but Obama? Man yes, tap your goofy *** on. You're more "groupthink" than anyone else here.

Those elements have always been present in American politics. You can't blame them for the current political climate. The rise of the tea party is part of the change in political climate I've been talking about.
