It's pretty sad that I enjoy watching the US presidential elections more than the politics in my own country
I think we could learn some things from the US when it comes to elections.
The fact we have mandatory voting duty already rubs a lot of people the wrong way and results in tons of people voting at random without knowing a single policy of the party they're voting for.

Listening to Trump attempt to answer a debate question is cringeworthy. He goes in incoherent circles and doesn't say a damn thing, let alone answer the question. His answer on Imminent Domain was ridiculous. The fact that he's still in this race is a testimony to how many stupid people are in this country. I realize a lot of people are drawn to his outrageous behavior and just tune in to hear what he'll say next, but this guy has no business on this platform.

You got to remember that Trump is not that different from other Republican candidates, he just wears his proto-fascistic tendencies on his sleeve. In many ways, Donald Trump is actually the moderate (in relative terms) in the GOP race.
Yes, it is true that other Republicans are skeptical of a mass deportation. However, they want to impose such humiliating and onerous terms for legalizing undocumented people that they might as well be calling for a mass self deportation. Latino voters need to be careful and not be lured by guys with Spanish surnames or a more mild mannered personality. Every Republican views Latinos as either vermin or beast of burden or some combination thereof.

While traveling abroad, I've met MANY Asian, African, European, and Latino people of all ages who hate Trump with a passion, and they don't even give a damn about the US for the most part, so you know how bad he really must be When people in this country vote for a guy that is universally hated, they clearly don't give a @#$@ about international relations or perception

It's just sad to see how many people follow Trump's "Make America great again" garbage. They don't care about the REAL reasons that have kept the US on 3rd world standards in so many ways ( unaffordable healthcare, poor care for the mentally ill, homicides, poor educational standards, lack of infrastructure and proper public transportation in most of the US, massive homeless populations in major cities, police brutality towards minorities, etc.) . To them, all their issues will be solved by deporting Mexicans and Muslims
