I can almost assure you a solid white option is never going to be available for this shoe. Just by the PEs Kobe has been wearing so far I'm under the impression that white in the EM upper of this shoe is not in Nike's plans, it may be because a white upper wouldn't last a week for bball ( although I know a lot of us use the shoes to rock casually ) if had to bet on it I would say an engineered mesh upper for this shoe will always have some kind of pattern and most likely white wont be available, maybe the all black PE that Kobe wore a while back appeared to have a different material and could come in solid and white options. But as long as its EM we're talking about, I highly doubt a white option without any kind of pattern will be available.

I agree I think Nike knows that the EM becomes too bland and almost like a lifestyle shoe without any pattern on the upper. You saw those red suedes in the official Kobe VIII forum and they just don't do it for me at least. Might be the color but I was one of the people begging for solid uppers, and now after copping the sulfurs and seeing that in person and seeing real pics of the chaos iDs I ordered, ill admit the patterns have grown on me. With all that said I don't think Nike will give us just plain options.

I hope it's a fade/gradient option. Wanted to use that for the VIIs but they put it up too late. After so many solid uppers on the VIIs, i don't mind not getting solid uppers for these, but it's better to have options we can play with.
