You have one vote for the HOF, Nash or AI?

AI was drafted onto a crappy team and was made the number one option and took a million shots a game, he was lucky enough to have an entire team built around him to ensure his success. Nash was just a cog in a very good Mavericks team and wasn't the central option on a team until he signed with Phoenix. How come nash is so obviously NOT a hall of famer but AI is?

that's a team built for success?

reading comprehension ftl.... he meant A.I's own numbers. also Agreed with Osh. Nas was very efficient shooting 50% from field, 40% from 3 and 90% from ftat one point. and D' Anphony didnt shoot all those shots and didnt make all those passes or clutch shots. Nash could still be very good in his years tocome since he doesnt rely on athleticism

I'm one of Iverson's biggest detractors on this board, but there's absolutely no doubt he's the answer to this question...
AI was good enough to be a constant centerpice, Nash was not.
Bingo... Steve was a good player in Dallas, but he wasn't a great one...
Steals are playing defense. You don't lead the league in steals if you cant play some sort of defense.
Steals =/= playing good defense...

This is shouldnt even be a debate. Iverson is one of the NBA's all time greats. Steve Nash had two great seasons. Thats it.

They both should and will get in. But if I had to pick one it would clearly be AI.

Nothing....and I mean nothing in the sentence I bolded said anything about AI's numbers...it clearly says hewas lucky enough to have an entire team built around him to ensure his success. Which is so far from the truth it's laughable. Unless he'ssaying...Iverson had bums on his teams which is why he was successful. And even then it makes his case for Nash worse because that lineup was the starting 5for a team in the Finals.....Nash has yet to get into the WCF

anyone who even blinked at this decision knows NOTHING about the game of basketball ... allen iverson is a first ballot first year eligible full blooded hallof famer ...

AI over Nash because of better stats.... Nash didn't really play regularly until he was like 27-28 (not his fault) but it is what it is....didn't givehim a chance to put up numbers

Good defense is on ball defense. AI was always a defensive liability due to his height. Steals don't mean anything.
