^Wasn't a fan of "Godfather" D'Lo. Felt like they just gave him that gimmick as a holding pattern until they found something else for him. What they found for him was Lo'Down, then Lo'Down with turbans.

Take-Two has confirmed that it has made a deal to publish WWE games moving forward. In a statement provided to IGN, a 2K representative said the following:

"We can confirm that we have entered into an agreement to publish the WWE video game series that is developed by Yukes. At this time, the agreement is pending court approval and we anticipate that it will be finalized shortly. We are very excited about the potential of this agreement and will have more to share at the appropriate time.”

Prior to its bankruptcy filing in December, the WWE license was held by THQ. We first reported last month that Take-Two would be taking over, though this is the first time that Yukes has been confirmed as the developer.

We’ll update this story once the deal is finalized and Take-Two provides additional information.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts provided an update on Scott Hall living with Diamond Dallas Page, writing on Twitter,

"Say miracles abound. R u ready? Oh it's true. Scott hall to arrive Monday. Seen him yesterday and we r so happy to report clean 4 16days"

"Will b biggest move 4either of us. Sharing road to health, sobriety and happiness. Ddp yoga will take us there just add hope, prayers love"

WWE reportedly has been making an effort to get Scott Hall back into a rehab facility.

2 months to get in better shape and stay sober then maybe he can be @ the HOF if the rumors about Kliq/DX being inducted.
 
Good to hear that news about Scott Hall.

Hopefully DDP helps Hall get his life in order like he did with Jack The Snake.

If DDP can't help Hall then there is absolutely no hope for him.

In a court filing yesterday, it was revealed that indeed Take Two has bought the WWE license from THQ. The more interesting detail is however that Yukes will be retained as the developer of the WWE series. This will almost certainly bode well for the series, as Yukes will now have even greater resources than they had at THQ for several elements of the game. More importantly, Yukes' incredible creation technology will be retained.

What we don't know yet is when the first WWE game will be released by 2K/Take Two -- but the odds of a 2013 release are now much higher with the same developer on board.

WWE 13 is pretty damn bad to me compared to the old Smackdown games I once loved. If it means putting out a great product, I say maybe wait until Spring 14.
 
I am legit pulling for Hall man. Hope DDP can really help.

I didn't get a chance to go through the whole thread, so I don't know if anyone else mentioned this but..

As soon as Heyman got the Rock/ Punk match stipulation added, am I only the one who immediately thought that the Shield will interfere and attack PUNK, thus causing a DQ on Rocky, and Punk then walks away champ?

Doubt it'll happen, but it would be a perfect move on Punk/Heyman's part.
 
Looking at it now, maybe that DQ was added last minute because Taker won't be at Mania.

Have Punk retain and have some sort of triple threat @ WM, cause if it's Cena vs Rock II and Taker can't make it where does that leave Punk on the card?

They were talking about putting him against ryback which would be an awful match considering ryback has an even more boring move set than john cena
