Allstar has an interesting look, good music/entrance, and impressive ring work. Should be good to go on the main roster as long as Vince is still high on him.

It's a shame the people at home didn't get to see the Pete Dunn and Johnny Gargano match.
Reason to watch NXT on Wednesday. WWE getting our attention for 5 straight nights. They knew what they were doing by not having just match on the Takeover card.

AJ vs Brock Preview

After overcoming Jinder Mahal in a title bout in Manchester, England, newly-crowned WWE Champion AJ Styles will go head-to-head against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a daunting Champion vs. Champion Match at Survivor Series, and the WWE Universe truly can’t wait to see it.

Refusing to be sidetracked by the tension building over the imminent battle for brand supremacy between Raw and SmackDown at WWE’s fall classic, Styles made it clear for several weeks that Mahal and the WWE Title were in his sights, while The Modern Day Maharaja insisted that there was no worthy competition on SmackDown LIVE and instead preferred to put his focus on The Conqueror. This smoldering conflict led to Styles having several volatile altercations with Mahal and his cohorts The Singh Brothers, but when the two finally clashed for the WWE Title in the U.K., The Phenomenal One reigned supreme.

Now that Styles stands on top of the SmackDown mountain, the WWE Universe will bear witness to a classic encounter to see who truly rules the roost in WWE, the Universal Champion or the WWE Champion, in a meeting of destiny between WWE’s two top titleholders and two Superstars who are truly at the top of their game. As incredible as Styles is, however, does he have what takes to conquer The Beast? After all, Lesnar has waged war after war in a monstrous run that has seen him beat, victimize and conquer WWE’s most formidable competitors.

Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
The battle lines have been drawn and the teams finalized in the Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, and the biggest names and most prominent rising stars in sports-entertainment will join forces in the battle for brand supremacy on the one night a year where Raw and SmackDown LIVE clash in head-to-head competition.

Just when it seemed the contest couldn’t get any bigger, unforeseen circumstances have resulted in a bombshell announcement. Following Jason Jordan’s injury at the hands of Bray Wyatt during this week’s Raw, 14-time World Champion Triple H has been selected to replace the gold-blooded Superstar at the fall classic!

In the wake of SmackDown bringing Raw under siege, Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon selected Kurt Angle as Raw Team Captain and made it clear that his position with Monday Night Raw will be in jeopardy if he doesn’t completely show up the blue brand. In response, The Olympic Hero recruited the dominant Braun Strowman, followed soon after by intense competitors Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe. And though Angle picked Jordan for the fifth and final spot, The Eater of Worlds nixed those plans with a vicious attack on The Olympic Hero’s son, leading to Jordan being replaced by The King of Kings, who took down the gold-blooded Superstar with a wicked Pedigree.

The addition of Triple H intensifies what was already sure to be an epic clash. On the other side of the ring will stand Shane McMahon, who named himself SmackDown Captain after his sister appointed Angle to the helm of Team Red. At his side will be none other than WWE’s resident free agent and 16-time World Champion John Cena, 13-time World Champion Randy Orton, The Artist Known as Shinsuke Nakamura and the absolutely glorious Bobby Roode.

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos
They say that anything can happen in WWE, and Cesaro & Sheamus just proved that old chestnut right. Thanks to a surprise appearance by The New Day that threw Raw into chaos, the two-man wrecking crew commonly known as “The Bar” dethroned Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins as Raw Tag Team Champions, thereby swapping themselves in for The Shield in the epic Champion vs. Champion bout against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos this Sunday at Survivor Series.

While the upset delays the long-awaited dream match that has been brewing since the summer on Twitter, it also changes the stakes in a major way for the two teams, both of whom have now notched multiple reigns this year alone. For Cesaro & Sheamus, on their third stint with Team Red’s titles, a match with The Usos (fresh off of trading title reigns with The New Day in a series of instant classics) is a chance to prove they are indeed the embodiment of excellence in WWE’s tag team division.

Meanwhile, Jimmy & Jey, who have gone through perhaps the most radical reinvention of any team in 2017, have a chance to prove they’re more than just the big fish in the Team Blue pond. The twins have been angling for a fight with Raw’s Tag Team Champions since WrestleMania time, and now, with the opportunity at their doorstep, the pressure is on to deliver. The Shield would have posed enough of a challenge for them to do so, but now, ironically, the only thing standing in the way of The Uso Penitentiary is one near-unbreakable Bar.

The Shield vs. The New Day
At Survivor Series, two of the greatest factions in WWE history will go head-to-head when The Shield battle The New Day in a dream showdown that everybody wanted to see, but never saw coming.

Prior to Nov. 6, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were standing tall as the Raw Tag Team Champions and were poised to battle SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at WWE’s fall classic, Roman Reigns was on the shelf, and four-time Tag Team Champions The New Day were driving their opponents crazy on the blue brand and waging unforgettable battles with Jimmy & Jey for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

However, that all changed at the end of Monday Night Raw, when Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods suddenly reemerged in Team Red territory, teasing “Under Siege Part II” and inciting a commotion that cost Ambrose & Rollins to lose their championships to Cesaro & Sheamus.

The following week, a fully reunited Shield interrupted Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon during her tense encounter with General Manager Kurt Angle and challenged The New Day to a Raw vs. SmackDown slugfest. The rest, as they say, is history.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair

Bliss, meet Flair.

Alexa Bliss’ month of preparation for SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya went out the window after Charlotte Flair dethroned The Queen of Harts as Team Blue’s titleholder, setting up a Champion vs. Champion Match at Survivor Series between the only two Superstars to hold the Women’s Titles of both brands.

Alexa’s story as Raw Women’s Champion is well known by this point: After starting the year as SmackDown Women’s Champion, she moved to the red side in the Superstar Shake-up and held down the fort for the most of 2017, denying challengers such as Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Mickie James.

Charlotte, on the other hand, has been in the unfamiliar position of chasing a title for most of this year: After losing the Raw Women’s Title to Bayley in January, she came to SmackDown LIVE in the Superstar Shake-up and found Team Blue’s top prize to be just beyond her grasp. She had even been set to compete on the Women’s Survivor Series team after defeating Natalya by disqualification — but not winning the title — at WWE Hell in a Cell.

However, a last-minute ruling by SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon gave The Nature Girl one more opportunity at the title, and Charlotte did not disappoint, defeating Natalya to win her first SmackDown Women’s Championship. The emotional victory prompted a celebration with her father, Ric Flair, who made a surprise appearance — his first after a major health scare — to congratulate his daughter.

With her classically flippant attitude toward her challengers, Alexa is likely unimpressed by this comeback, which, in fairness, is the same song she’s been singing for a while now: After WWE TLC, the Raw Talk panel floated the idea about what would happen if Alexa were to face Charlotte, and “The Goddess of WWE” was dismissive at best. That attitude certainly reflects her skills as champion, but now, it’s a response she can no longer afford.

Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
As a crucial part of Raw and SmackDown’s battle for brand supremacy at Survivor Series, the 5-on-5 Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match promises to be an explosive encounter from start to finish.

Alicia Fox earned the right to be the Team Captain for Team Raw after upsetting Sasha Banks and Bayley in a Triple Threat Match. Miss Fox then wasted little time showing that she will be picking the cream of the crop to help lead the Team Red ladies to their second consecutive Survivor Series victory. With her first pick, Alicia tabbed Nia Jax, then selected the undefeated Asuka the following week. Then, after tapping out to the Bank Statement in tag team action, the eccentric Fox surprised everyone by adding Sasha Banks to the squad. Not to be denied, Bayley earned the final spot with a Triple Threat victory against Mickie James and Dana Brooke.

On the other side of the ring, Team SmackDown seems more than capable of taking the crown after falling to Team Raw in the Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Match last year. The blue brand’s squadron was hand-selected by SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, and Becky Lynch won the right to be SmackDown Team Captain and lead her teammates Naomi, Carmella and Tamina. But, after Charlotte Flair overcame Natalya to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship on Tuesday night SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon announced on Twitter that Natalya would now become the fifth member for Team Blue in this major clash.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. United States Champion Baron Corbin
When Intercontinental Champion The Miz clashes with United States Champion Baron Corbin at WWE Survivor Series, it will prove that brand bloodlines run deep … even if the Superstars aren’t always thrilled with their brand.

The Miz and Baron Corbin come into the battle for brand supremacy at WWE Survivor Series following similar, yet unique paths to the contest. Although both champions have their own flavor of brashness, each has had serious issues with management. Corbin has clashed with SmackDown LIVE brass Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan on several occasions, while The Miz just recently squared off against Raw General Manager Kurt Angle at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs in a hellacious 5-on-3 Handicap TLC Match.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto (Kickoff Match)
Kalisto’s quest to regain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and shut Enzo Amore up once and for all continues in the Survivor Series Kickoff, when he challenges the brash titleholder.

The masked marvel made an immediate impact in the Cruiserweight division when he joined, almost immediately dethroning Amore. However, Kalisto’s turn as champion didn’t last long due to Enzo poking the luchador in the eye to reclaim his coveted title at WWE TLC.

Amore’s underhanded tactics continued in their rematch two weeks later on WWE 205 Live. Just as The King of Flight seemed to be on the verge of recapturing the title, a desperate Certified G kicked the referee to get himself disqualified, ensuring he would lose the match, but still hold onto his championship.

Kalisto is determined to dethrone Amore and bring prestige back to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, but Enzo is just as serious about hanging on to the title by any means necessary.
