Wrestling Thread Mar 11-24 | 3/18 RAW - HHH Responds to Brock | Punk Still Has Taker's Urn

Sooooooooooo, you post Vader themes and don't post this?

DC: I liked this theme and Heavenly Thunder the best. Man, I agree with Vader being treated as such in the WWE. I would have loved to see him perform in Japan...they treated him like a God over there. :smokin

^ Good :smokin

If you had to give CM Punk 2 top rop moves to a DOWNED opponent what would they be?
1. Macho Man ELbow drop
2. ????????????????

The Official WWE "Strange But True" WrestleMania Facts

Posted by: Ben Kerin of WrestlingNewsSource.com on Mar 16 2013

The official WWE website has published another top 10 list, this time they look at the top 10 "strange but true" WrestleMania facts.

10. When WWE hit the SkyDome for WrestleMania 6, the tag team duo Rhythm & Blues, Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine, were driven to the ring in a pink Cadillac to perform their song "Hunka Hunka Honky Love." The interesting fact you probably didn't know? The guy driving the car was future WCW mainstay Diamond Dallas Page.

9. Undertaker's WrestleMania streak is well documented but one thing you may or may not have noticed is that of the 17 different opponents spanning his 20 victories, four of them were members of the Evolution stable that ruled the WWE landscape for a couple years from 2002-2005. Triple H, who lost three times (WrestleMania 17, 27, 28), Ric Flair (WrestleMania 18), Randy Orton (WrestleMania 21), and Batista (WrestleMania 23) all fell to "The Deadman."

8. There has only ever been one WrestleMania that hasn't featured a world heavyweight championship match and, fittingly enough, it was the first one. That's because Hulk Hogan hooked up with Mr. T to battle Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff for a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA PLAYA PLAYA in the main event.

7. When WWE put together a show long tournament to crown a new world champion at WrestleMania 4, the man chosen to win the title was Randy Savage. Accompanying him to the ring at all times was his longtime love, Miss Elizabeth. "Macho Man" had four matches that night and Elizabeth wore a different dress for each one of them, looking incredibly beautiful the entire way.

6. When a WWE championship or world heavyweight championship match closes the show, chances are there will be a title change. That's because in the history of the event of the 23 times the headlining attraction was a title bout, only 30 percent of champions retained their belt. That's largely thanks to the Royal Rumble but it's still a remarkable number and a good reason for you to remember why John Cena is probably going to beat The Rock for the WWE championship at WrestleMania 29 this year.

5. WrestleMania 2 was historic for a number of reasons, the most notable of which was the fact that not only did WWE hold the event at three different locations scattered across the country but the show was held on a Monday night, the first and only time it wasn't broadcast on a Sunday. If you think that's crazy, remember that less than 10 years later the company created a Monday night television show that has been widely successful and is still going strong to this day.

4. This one is just an odd little variance that someone miraculously caught that wasn't planned in any way: Five different Intercontinental champions have lost their match at WrestleMania but retained the title in the process. That list includes Shawn Michaels, Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, Mr. Perfect, and Jeff Jarrett.

3. Bret Hart is tied with Undertaker for the honor of being WrestleMania's "Iron Man," with both men having appeared on the show 12 consecutive years. Hart wrestled against Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 2 in his first appearance and was on every show thereafter until his win over Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13 in the greatest match of all time. Undertaker will break the tie when he wrestles CM Punk at WrestleMania 29 this year.

2. WWE played on the "subject to change" disclaimer at WrestleMania 18 with Goldust challenging Maven for the Hardcore championship and never getting the chance to actually finish the match. That's because, if you remember, the Hardcore title was up for grabs 24/7 with anyone able to just swoop in and pin the champion to win the belt. So a melee broke out and suddenly Crash Holly pinned Maven to win the strap before he lost it to Hurricane, who in turn dropped it to Mighty Molly, who lost it to Christian, before Maven came back into the picture and won the belt back in time to run off in a taxi. Sorry, Goldy!

1. Howard Finkel, the awesome longtime WWE ring announcer, has appeared at every single WrestleMania in some form or fashion. Every one. WWE compared him to Alfred Hitchcock making at least a small cameo appearance in every movie he directed. So be on the lookout for "The Fink" to continue his streak on April 7 in New Jersey.

Trust in the club, he knows what he's doing. Trust in his grand plan. He has something for us all. :hat :hat

The Midwest Connection welcomes our southern friend Tennhouse to the team. Just show up sober, plz.

Rko should be added to our team as well. Make it an 8-man. #JESSEPLZ ?

Thank you! Damn, Flub completely snub me and the daily contributions I make to this thread. On top of that, 4W doesn't follow me back on twitter. Where is the respect around this place? I will be respected or I'll simply take it.

NobelKane? :x

#TheFranchise

CM Punk :smokin

They HAVE to do that on Raw.

I haven't seen any of this girls work. But dear lord does she 'get it'. Great watch.
