Just got invited to the Beta program for Marshmallow on my PRIV. Should receive the update sometime this weekend :smokin.

Damn shame that the Priv might officially get Marshmallow before the H901 LG v10 :lol x :{

How do you like the Priv? I was very, very keen on getting one until I realized they wouldn't be coming to US carriers for a while after launch. I'm still thinking about using a Jump to get the Priv, and if yall are getting Marshmallow soon, I just might make the switch 8o

The last time I had an Android phone was like 2010 so I'm not really sure how it stacks up to other Androids today :lol, but I like it a lot.

OS is very snappy (after changing the animation/transition scale to .5x). Battery life is awesome, it hasn't even come close to dying on me yet. It comes off the charger at 6:30am and by the time I go to sleep (around 10-11pm) it's still at 30-40%. I golf a lot and use a GPS app for up to 5 hours at a time and that'll only drain the battery about 10-15%.

The physical keyboard is amazing, as with the rest of the BB family. If you've ever had one in the past, your muscle memory will be back within a day or so of usage. I think I type faster on it than my laptop :lol. The PKB is also an optical trackpad. You can scroll just by running your thumb along the keys so you don't have to reach up or close the keyboard to scroll. I do wish there was a mouse pointer feature when using it like a trackpad though.

Although it's only made of plastic, it feels really sturdy. I like how heavy it is compared to iPhones. I believe the screen is Gorilla Glass 4 so it's super scratch/crack resistant. I haven't dropped it yet but there's not a scratch to be found on it after having it face down on my desk/tables, in my pockets with keys/change, etc.

I don't take too many pics, but the ones I do take come out pretty nice. Videos are good too, I use the slow-mo function often. Alot of people say that the front-facing camera is trash though, so if you take alot of selfies you might wanna look elsewhere :lol.

The only real negative I can comment on is that the BB Hub isn't as integrated into the Android OS as it was on BB10 OS. If you've used a BB10 device in the past, this will bother you a bit, but if not you probably won't notice it. Although apparently Marshmallow is supposed fix alot of the Hub bugs.

When I got the phone the worker told me that I had 14 (or maybe 10) days to test it out. If I didn't like it I could've returned it and just paid a $50 re-stocking fee. Something to think about if you're really interested in it.

Like I said, I really have no clue how it stacks up against other Android phones, but I'd highly recommend checking it out. I can see myself using it for a while until they release the PRIV2 or whatever is gonna come next.

Exactly what I was looking for, just your honest thoughts on the device. I switch phones frequently, so I've been itching to try it out. I don't take selfies or anything so no worries there :lol Much appreciated.

I'm trying out the s7 edge my only issue so far is that the palms of my hand keep touching on the sides of the phone a whole lot.

N preview is pretty nice. has pretty much everything í need from an OS. i could spend all day lowering and raising the notification drawer or pulling up for split screen.

just gotta take care of some bugs.

I think people feel misled when LG said "all-aluminum body" and what they actually were interacting with is aluminum with paint over the top of it.

What's the issue? It has paint on it, but it's still all aluminum as expected.

Most people expect anodized aluminum, ala Apple, HTC, Huawei, etc.   When you cheap out and just paint the aluminum, the paint can easily be scratched and chipped.  LG went aluminum but tried to cut corners.  They would've been better off keeping plastic honestly...

For those with a Nexus 5x, what cases are you guys rolling with? Or you going caseless? I am thinking a tempered screen protector and caseless, since the phone is already grippy.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: As a smartphone vendor prepares to finally unveil a long anticipated new flagship phone, practically every single detail leaks out just days before the press conference — or in this case, virtual press conference. It seems like there are never any surprises these days when companies take the wraps off of a new phone because phones are almost always unwrapped well in advance thanks to leaks. Not even Apple can keep a phone secret anymore.

This time around it’s the upcoming new HTC 10, which is set to be officially unveiled on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately for HTC, it looks like just about everything there is to know about the sleek new phone has new been revealed.

A video that is believed to be one of HTC’s official promotional videos has leaked on YouTube, showing us exactly what the company’s next-generation flagship smartphone will look like. What’s more, the leak follows a report that hit the web over the weekend detailing what are believed to be the new HTC 10’s official specs.

In the video, a sleek new metal smartphone is shown and its design aligns perfectly with earlier leaks. Aside from what seems like definitive confirmation that prior leaks were genuine, the video also reveals that the phone will apparently be available in three colors: Black, silver and gold.

Here’s the video in question:

Ahead of the video leak, a Dutch blog called GSM Helpdesk  published live photos  of the HTC 10 that are believed to be genuine as well.

Alongside the photos, the blog reported that HTC’s new flagship phone will feature a 5.2-inch display with 2K quad HD resolution, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera with “UltraPixel” branding, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, microSDXC support up to 2TB, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a large 3,000 mAh battery. The report also says that BoomSound has been reworked in the new HTC 10, with “HTC BoomSound HiFi edition” featuring Dolby audio technology replacing last year’s BoomSound setup.

HTC is set to unveil the HTC 10 on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. EDT, and BGR will be covering all the news as it breaks.
Joint actually looks pretty nice.  Better than the G5 for sure.  Prolly wont sell much tho with the S7 in the market.  3000 mah battery will be great.

I have the camera attachment for the g5 and it's pretty handy. Nothing i can't live without or anything, but cool to have.
