I did it.  Got rid of the V10 and got the G5.  Battery yesterday lasted me ~13 hours, but I had 4hr 30m+ OST, i streamed a lot of soccer in the morning too.  I like the size better than the V10, camera is great, ill post a couple shots i took last night.

Reason I copped was because I'm taking a road trip from West to Cleveland in June, and wanted that free 360 cam to use on the trip.

How reliable is swappa?

Pretty reliable, I've sold and bought plenty of devices there. They use PayPal so you'll be good

Thing about swappa is that the seller can default on the payment plan and you're left with s dead phone (no different from eBay/Craigslist). Go with somebody who has a decent amount of ratings

Someone made a comment earlier about the placement of the fingerprint sensor of the V10 that was totally spot on. I dont even use it because my phones usually on my desk and I would need to pick it up to use it.

Fingerprint scanner on the back is stupid, IMO. Half the time I'm unlocking my phone it's laying face up on my desk at work. Kinda defeats the convenience of the feature if I gotta pick it up.

One of the reasons I returned the 6p.

I think it is.


And yea, the G5 is pretty sorry looking. They made the battery smaller, screen smaller, and paired it w/ a bunch of gimmicks that nobody wants to carry around w/ them. I had high hopes after the build for the G4 and V10.

What cheap plastic on the g5 are you all talking about, and the phone is selling fairly well from what I've seen. If you want an app tray go to LG Smart World and download lg home 4.0. I have no idea why they left it off in the first place.

I think people feel misled when LG said "all-aluminum body" and what they actually were interacting with is aluminum with paint over the top of it.
