his sig has 804, so im guessing va beach or norfolk not 703....im in DC and looking for a decent place is expensive.  Back in NC, i had 4br, 2 bath, for 600-everything included

  

yeah... i've been looking at places out in the NOVA/DC area and its steep... $1544-$1750 for a studio apt. and $2416-$2958 for a 2 room 

but i live in maryland so its not like it gets any cheaper here. might as well buy a house out here, and im not at that point in my life. 

so I'm just going to grind it out and get an apt. out there soon, its about a 30 minute drive from my parents home so i'll always be close. 

i was actually looking into some places today, funny how i found this thread

some of you guys got it GOOD when it comes to rent. (not considering the cost of living in that area)
in college my apartment was a 2 bedroom 2 bath next to campus, it was ~$2200 a month. (orange county) i paid $500+ utilities to SHARE a small room.

in my current situation, i'm paying $650+ utilities to have a single room in a 3 bedroom 2 bath. (san diego)
