I also dont see him going anywhere. Miami has treated him very well and he has made Miami his own. He cemented his legacy here. Any other franchise would be like starting fresh (or behind someone elses legacy) and no other franchise has the family knit organization that Miami has.

Lol. Maybe we can have a 27 game win streak this early in the season rather in the middle right before playoff time :lol:

Would give them more incentive to play every game this early in the season and could do nothing but good for our seeding.

was going to come in here and say the same thing. knocked down all of their looks it seemed like early on. miami also seemed really sluggish on D in the 1st half.

CHICAGO -- Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed the team’s shootaround with flu-like symptoms and is considered questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade will be reevaluated later in the day before determining his status for the game. Heat center Chris Andersen was away from the team to deal with a personal matter and is expected to join the Heat in Minnesota on Saturday for the remainder of the team’s four-game trip.

Wade also missed Tuesday’s game to rest his sore right knee. Wade used his social media account Wednesday night to post a photo of himself receiving electronic stimulation treatment on the knee, with ongoing rehabilitation having kept the star guard out of four games this season.

LeBron James to star in movie with Kevin Hart

Dwyane Wade has his impending television series, his semi-autobiographic look at basketball life as a single father.

Now, Miami Heat teammate LeBron James has trumped him, with a move to the big screen.

James confirmed before Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center that he will co star with Kevin Hart in a Universal and Imagine Entertainment in a feature-film comedy titled Ballers.

The project will be co-written by Hart, who will play "the brother of an NBA superstar who gets a chance to prove himself when he and some friends attend a weekend fantasy basketball camp."

James said the project with Hart came together, "through our friendship, mutual respect.


"It should be really good."

James' manager Maverick Carter will serve as an executive producer along with Hart and James.

The movie is expected to be shot this summer in Miami, perhaps another sign that James will remain with the Heat, with an opt-out to become a free agent in July.

James said basketball remains the current focus.

"Obviously, it's not what I'm thinking about in the forefront, right now," he said of the movie."

The project is similar to plans for a previously scrapped James feature-film project in 2009, Fantasy Basketball Camp, which was to feature James, then with the Cleveland Cavaliers, working with five fantasy campers in Las Vegas.

"It's something I can relate to," he said of the plot. "I think the project is going to be great."

That project ultimately turned into Ballers, with James in the intervening years turning his focus to his free-agent move to the Heat and three successive appearances in the NBA Finals, winning championships the past two seasons alongside Wade and Chris Bosh.

The James-Hart pairing will be unique from a height perspective, with James at 6 feet 8 and Hart at 5-3, drawing comparisons to the Danny DeVito- Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle Twins.

The fantasy-camp aspect of the James-Hart project rings true, with Hart a frequent competitor at Wade's annual fantasy camps in South Florida, including one this past summer at the Diplomat in Hollywood.

The project would mark James' feature-film debut, although he previously appeared in a feature-length 2009 documentary, More Than a Game, about his basketball rise and upbringing.

Hart recently was featured in Think Like A Man and is staring with Ice Cube in Ride Along.

There previously had been reports of James involvement in a sequel to Michael Jordan's Space Jam.

James also is involved in the development of a television show, Survivor's Remorse, on the Starz cable network. That project will focus on a pair of friends who rise from poverty in the sports and business worlds and the impact of their success.

Similarly, Wade recently sold his television series, Three the Hard Way, to Fox, about an NBA star who gets custody of his three young sons, a story similar to the All-Star guard's situation with the Heat.

Unlike James with Hart in their movie, Wade will not star in the television series.

"Haven't figured that out yet," Wade said before a recent Heat game at AmericanAirlines Arena of who would play the Wade role. "But I'm sure it'll be somebody very handsome."

James also will not be featured in his television project.

Wade also has movie credits, although not in a lead role, including the Queen Latifah and Common vehicle Just Wright, as well as a dancing scene in What to Expect when You're Expecting.
